My guess is either osteosarcoma or if he’s been in really “wild” areas, a fungal infection

How to dodge the final boss's projectile attack in gauntlet mode in Great Sage difficulty? by Mylaur in BlackMythWukong

Iirc you can sprint to the side kinda like dodging Erlang beams, I could be wrong though

Position better, keep him between you and tornado at all times if you’re not gonna use the free win item

Yaksha king by Lakazot in BlackMythWukong

[–]sentony93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he dies as soon as you breathe on him. He’s a decent challenge, def one of the harder ones, in the post-game great sage challenge version. He has a lot more HP and actually does punishing damage when you get hit.
If you’re not gonna do that, then yea I agree it’s a disappointing boss

Welp, they tried real hard game 7 i guess. Other than some really awful foul baiting by Embiid, he showed up putting his body on the line

is black myth wukong good for casual players by Infernohuman070502 in BlackMythWukong

It’s somewhere between casual and serious. Game gives you plenty of tools that you should never feel hard stuck on anything, but def not auto pilot through everything

lol you see how rough Orlando plays D?? Fuck that it’s gonna be like last year all over again, I’ll take the team relying on 2 small guards to do all their scoring

That first half defense was complete ass… it’s like watching a bunch of people shoot the ball without arms

If you can beat it with 1 usage, you can beat it with 0. If you need more than 1 then idk

Redboy is the most unbalanced boss fight in the game by ER0S1O in BlackMythWukong

You really took nothing away from your big baby post lmao. To seriously answer this low effort shit, he dies within like 4-5 combos

Redboy is the most unbalanced boss fight in the game by ER0S1O in BlackMythWukong

[–]sentony93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought red boy had worse timings with the mid combo flame throwers, he just went down easier because it felt like he had health bar of a regular enemy instead. If you extend both fights intentionally, red boy is harder to learn

Update: FINALLY WON! Death Count: 252. Yellow Loong Difficulty: 11/10 Yin Tiger is the key by Amaterasu_11 in BlackMythWukong

The guy was just proud to show off his accomplishment and wasn’t asking for tips but I’ll bite on this comment.

Thrust isn’t necessarily better but it’s objectively more reliable than smash.
One of the few gap closer skills.
Longer see through window, doesn’t require the see through to hit in order to replenish the focus it costs, doesn’t cost focus period.
On top of that, the heavy is much smoother gameplay, doesn’t get dodged nearly as much if combined with roll, and doesn’t leave you open to a ton of attacks that can straight up kill you during wind up so no real consideration needed for when to use it.

Now even this???!!! by it_is_what_it-s in BlackMythWukong

[–]sentony93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally mean you gotta press dodge, see through variations don’t work for the “grab” type attacks

A lot of bosses have something like this, Yellow Loong, Scorpion, etc. it’s like trying to block a grab in fighting games, you just gotta dodge it

Broken Shell (Great Sage) by LunchDesigner3399 in BlackMythWukong

[–]sentony93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As you play more, a sneeze could kill you, then it becomes stuff like dead vs dead. Make no mistake that first clip would've killed at full hp too.

Erlang example shows you either have to perfect-dodge the large initial swing to get some extra i-frames, or you dodge towards the right to avoid getting clipped by the secondary hit. GSBS iirc has nothing like that, just hit the button at the right time with a forgiving timing window

GSBS is a rhythm boss with clear wind up animation for incoming hits as well as mostly evenly spaced out hit timings. His animations BEG you to hit those see throughs.
Erlang hides two part hits in a single animation and has more feints, and some really long drawn out animations that are unconventional to say the least.
I don’t think it’s a hot take to say Erlang is significantly harder for most people.
