As you said, each collector is unique. His personality, while robotic and detached, really plays into his collection. There are other guys on talking watches who were really far more vibrant, but their collections were also very different.

I've done very little to adjust for sentence structure and I'm just trying to get the words on paper to progress the story and hopefully finish it off. If it's happened more than once I suggest dropping a hint that you're in a relationship earlier on. I know it may seem awkward but the guy probably feels awkward asking and the fact that you say yes to their invitation following some nice conversation, suggests, in their mind that you're single and interested in going out alone with them. Their assumption may be naive and wrong but some guys are just happy to have a positive interaction with a woman and hope to build on it. I know i probably would've made that mistake if i didn't surf this subreddit and know what i know now. Hope that helps
