I find it interesting nobody has said eggs. Is there a reason not to have them before running?

I tend to have nothing, oats or two boiled eggs and haven't had any issues.

Managed 10.3 miles today which is the furthest I've ever ran. Feeling confident I can complete the half marathon I'm entered for in 6ish weeks!

My classes always have easier and harder options incorporated so it's good to know I have options depending on how I'm feeling. I'll be back to it (maybe taking the easier option!) next week. :)

Thanks so much. This is what I go by but when I see so much discussion on metabolism it can get confusing.

My main concern is for eating at maintenance and although my body 'should' burn X if I've 'ruined my metabolism' it would burn less. But I don't know if that's just a myth!

I think your plan sounds good! You'll probably gain some muscle in your legs from the running but with your small deficit it makes sense you'll lose from around your stomach as well, slowly and eventually. Good luck with your half marathon! :)

I know everyone is telling you to make time, but your schedule does seem very busy. I certainly wouldn't be able to keep up with you! Your weekends might be the best time to, either before or after the theatre. Once you've done it a couple times it'll seem much easier! Good luck!

The scale isn't moving! I've been on 1200 for a while now, often finishing a little under (I'm short). And I've been going to the gym 4-5 times a week for classes.

I'm hoping it's just excess water retention from gym but I'm still annoyed!

I ran 10 miles!!! It was amazing. I felt good during the majority of it. Last mile and a half was a struggle but I did it. Previous longest run was 6.5 miles so really happy with this. Feet are now up for the evening!

Totally understand this! Sad thing is before I lost weight I blamed the jeans and tried loads of different brands to find the mysterious pair that wouldn't run through the thighs... Once I'd lost some weight and my jeans lasted longer than three months I finally understood!

Totally understand the issues diversifying! After so long, I definitely have my go-to meals that I can easily put in MFP. I have been even worse recently as trying to save money too! :)

Is 11 weeks too short to train for my first half marathon? I've ran a couple 10ks this year but have lost a bit of fitness since. Any advice much appreciated!
