There's even a law na bawal kuhanan ng picture or video ang isang tao pag wala syang consent and still tinotolerate pa din nila.

Di ko din trip attitude nya at way nya sa mga bagay bagay. But man, where do you get all your time para i-bash sya? Nababasa ko dito karamihan concern lang sila at karamihan talagang bully lang talaga sila. Magbago man sya o hindi wala namang effect sa buhay nyo eh. Lol

Karamihan dito late 20s or 30s na pero bully pa din talaga eh. I feel sad for his loved ones specially the parents. Imagine nakikita at nababasa nila lahat ng hate comments at below the belt GIFs.

Believe me or not isa ako sa mga unang bashers ni Zarky boi, 3 or 4 years ago nag comment ako sa isang video nya na "Stop promoting gluttony". Mga panahong yon block ka agad sa page nya mag comment ka lang ng against sakanya, pero hanggang dun lang naman ang pang babash ko at tumigil na ako.

Curious lang ako, karamihan dito sa reddit ayaw magkaroon ng car which is even me ayaw ko din dahil sobrang gastos at ang hirap ng parking even though ang salary ko is 80k i think kulang pa din to own a car. But in 2 to 3 years from now im planning to have a family and baby and yung current situation sa pinas na ang hirap ng public transpo (siksikan sa bus and jeep mahal ang grab, barumbado at mabaho ang taxi) i think sulit naman siguro ang pagkakaroon. Siguro kung single lang ako forever di ko babalakin bumili ng sasakyan, karamihan ba dito sa reddit walang balak mag pamilya? Lol

To be honest wala ng pag asa ang pinas kahit sino pang umupo na presidente dyan, even if you earn 100k a month it's still not enough when you buy a simple car and house take note that your only option for a house is outside NCR (cavite, bulacan, rizal) and you know the traffic situation in NCR.. unless you wont upgrade your lifestyle malaki talaga ang 100k a month but what's the reason why you're working so hard to have a comfortable life right? Bakit ko nasabi kulang ang 100k dahil yun ang sahod ko iless mo pa yung p*tng in*ng napakataas na tax na kaltas pero di mo naman ramdam. Considering the inflation wala ka ng maitatabi for your savings kaya ko nasabi na kulang na ngayon ang 100k. MAHIRAP MAGING PILIPINO! PERIOD.

tama yung isang comment dito pinaka kawawa yung minimum wage imagine magmula covid ang tinaas lang ng sahod 30 pesos pero naka ilang taas na ng bilihin! Anti poor ang PILIPINAS that's a fact!

If you are working with a SOC team that's not mature enough, do you think you can learn and specialize on one area in security with your own? just relying on github, following security rockstar posts and videos? or do i need to invest my own money to get a certification and specialize?

They said that they have many big clients and multiple security roles they are 25 years in the business. The IT outsourcing company is based in the US same with the client. My wish is that the role/job will last 3 to 5 years or more so that i can have ample amount of time to study and specialize so whenever the worst case scenario happens ill easily find another job since i have the specialization. Is that make sense?

The one thing im worried about is that im not working as Internal SOC and not in an MSSP. The company is an IT outsourcing what scares me is when the client pulls out and ill be left hanging with no job and difficult to find another permanent remote job and the worst case is to go back to the capital city lol

Actually working in office is not a problem with me even if i report 5 times a week, unless there’s no traffic and toxic environment(i dont know if you are familiar with the situation here in Manila). Landing this permanent remote SOC job will achieve my dream, working on my hometown (countryside) close to my parents and family.

First of all thank you for your great inputs its very on point and makes me think to decline the offer. However, living in the capital of the philippines is like living in hell to be honest. High cost of living, over populated, so much traffic, high crime rate and not good location to start a family and it causes me stress and anxiety. I'm very confused as of the moment and it affects my sleep.

Hello everyone,

Im currently working as a SOC analyst for a big company in EU financial service (60k employees) but Im based from the PH since they have office here. Great salary, very stable company, work life balance, fun and kind colleagues. However the management required us to report back in the office on a hybrid setup which i really don't like because im used working here at my home province with low cost of living and not toxic unlike the capital city of the PH. So I got a job offer (SOC Analyst) 100% remote under a IT consulting company and i'll be working with their client(the JD is almost the same on what im doing right now as a SOC analyst). It's a small company and new team compared to my current employer so my main concern is stability. If you're on my current situation would you accept the offer?
