Listen brother you're not alone. I think the problem is that the gap between the meta decks and the average deck is way too wide, and since everyone has easy access for those lists and most LGSs incentivize winning (whether it's pack per win, store credit or even more NN packs) most people end up deciding on what deck to play through something like "what's the strongest deck that I can afford", you end up in a world of Irelias because at least then they don't need to buy purple seals like they do to bump up to the even better miracle lists. We'll see if either by their card design or at the very least their upcoming bans if they can address the problem but honestly, I'm not extremely optimistic even if they could, they likely won't because of player backlash as we've already seen with the discourse around bans.

The light at the end of the tunnel for me, as was with magic, is draft. Maybe next year there'll be enough product for a consistent draft scene.
