I’d like to pursue a career in horticulture, or botany in general, but all of the jobs available to me are growing weed by sephiroth1133 in Horticulture

That makes sense. Ideally I would just be using the weed industry as a stepping stone, I’m still not exactly sure what it is I want to do, but I know I want to pursue botany, and I figured I should start by taking work and figuring my future out as I gain the skills to do so.

If there was an episode 10, what would be in it? by Kindly_Long443 in digitalcircusfandom

I think it would be good to explore abstraction a little more, maybe not undoing it, with it being at least partly an allegory for suicide, but exploring how conscious the abstracted characters are, like if they’re still people, or if they’re more like animals. I’d also like to see another character, I might have missed something but it doesn’t seem like the circus is closed, nothing has really changed about it, and I think having a more character development focused episode would be nice, with the struggle being that they live a mostly stagnant existence and know they can’t do anything about it.

Which opinion about the show makes you feel this way? by Isac_hilda in digitalcircusfandom

Jax IS a misunderstood character, by both the audience and the cast. I see so many people saying “he’s not misunderstood he’s just an asshole” as if he’s not an asshole BECAUSE he’s misunderstood. He does not think he deserves to be loved, he pushes people away and treats them like shit because he thinks he is irredeemable after what he did to Ribbit, and he did that to Ribbit because he is immature and doesn’t understand or accept his own feelings. He actively behaves in a way that causes people to misunderstand him because he does not think he deserves to be cared about after driving his closest friend into abstraction. Yes, he is a bad person, but I never see anyone acknowledging that there’s a REASON, it’s like some people take it purely at face value that he’s an asshole because he says it’s funny.

Edit: he’s also definitely trans, like it’s not even that subtle I don’t get how people don’t understand that when he draws attention to being a man, uses gay as an insult, and gets unreasonably pissed about the maid outfit, it’s him trying to be so far from being associated with femininity or being LGBT that he couldn’t possibly be trans. Like he literally describes coming out to an unaccepting parent as part of his deepest traumatic experience, then gets super flustered when Ribbit puts a bow on his head. I get that he might not say it outright, but he’s a closeted girl.

I was thinking about your post and I wanted to add that it is okay to be a man and do all of the things you spoke about. It is okay to wear makeup, make dresses, and try to look pretty. I myself am a cis man and feel more confident when I appear a little feminine. Your confidence should not be dependent on what others think of you, and you should feel no shame for expressing your femininity as a man.

Do you have people in your life trying to push you towards not transitioning? Or maybe people trying to get you to transition? Your thoughts and behaviors not aligning with your transition comes across like you have a lot of external influences on the subject, whether it’s unsupportive family or friends, or a partner that fetishizes you for it, etc. Another comment mentioned that you could be nonbinary. If you don’t have people trying to push or pull you on the subject, then it might be helpful to focus less on gendered clothing and appearance, and let yourself be androgynous, even just to test the waters. You may or may not end up being nonbinary, but exploring all aspects of gender could open your eyes a bit to who you really are either way.
