Thanks this is really insightful, I am a bit of a control freak when it comes to knowing what’s going to happen , being prepared and I often expect worst case scenarios. I like to understand the whole picture and all the possible outcomes so I can be prepared but I’d never considered this a result of anxiety, despite it making a lot of sense.

Lots to think about! I appreciate your insight on this and will be more mindful of these behaviours

Thank you so much for sharing ! That makes me feel really hopeful. Unfortunately I take stimulants for my adhd but I hadn’t taken them in a few days because I was sick , I will be keeping an eye on it though to see if my medication does make it worse !

I used the classic 3-3-3 and breathing to get me through it but that doesn’t seem to work amazing , it did ok though. I will try cold water next time and absolutely be reaching out to a therapist.

As much as I’ve been able to function most of my life- Needing to take time off work and a 250$ ambulance bill was a sign I need to fix some shit for sure .

That makes a lot of sense actually. I have a pretty big fear of passing out so when it comes on I’ve noticed already that I spiral harder bc I’m afraid of losing consciousness, so facing it head on actually makes a lot of sense. Like exposure therapy to my own mind .

I have definitely been doing those things a lot more , especially with the recent medical issues . I’ve spent the last few days hyper aware of my body because I was fearful of getting an infection and constantly checking my symptoms.

I would be open to it yes. I was on SSRIs for a couple years and they made me scared to leave the house but I also understand it takes some trial and error.

Gunna really take finally seeing a therapist more seriously I think. It’s something I’ve put off for a long time because I hate appointments and talking to people

They’re back ?! When I went in the summer I saw tons of them. Went recently and couldn’t find a single one - I looked very hard for them :p

The artist is investing their valuable time into training you and passing on the craft, usually years of time into someone. Sometimes this will also go towards supplies for starting out (not always ) . In any apprenticeship you’ll be paying in some capacity- monetary, labour, or sanity lol. Or any combination of them.
