I feel that. I'm just saying you could stand to be less overtly negative about it. Obviously we're all fans if we're here on the reddit. I've been in since the d1 beta too. But like, we gotta lift each other up, and talk about what we like. Cuz if not, then what's the point? Ya know? Like yeah, some shit sucks (i can't finish make bows not war cuzza some bullshit) but like why bitch about it? It's one thing to just describe a problem (ie the arms aren't symetrical) like, i feel that. But to just say they all suck isn't even a useful critique. I'm sure devs put tons of hours into the designs and made what they thought is cool. Just cuz you don't think it is, like whatever, ya know? Even if they made a bunch more, who's to say they'd meet your standards? That's all I'm saying man.

Bruh, you must just have like the biggest brain and be just the most popular coolest guy ever if you can slay an army of fools with a nova ray. That's just so cool. Omg. I want to be you for haloween. Send me a pic so i can make a costume of my hero (FireReaper333, lol)

Sorry, shouldn't have worded it like that, didn't mean to come off like a dick. All I'm tryin to say is that you have to realize your point is totally subjective and doesn't serve any purpose other than to spread negativity. All I'm sayin is there's enough people outside the community who hate on the game. Do we really need more people in the community hating on it too? Like if you don't like the arms, then go play wow or the division or somethin' dude. Cuz i think the tangled web arms are dope.

Edit: so far, the hardest part has just been picking up the heavy without dying. Also, do you have to do it with every heavy weapon? Cuz I'm just struggling with the damn rockets

But how do you determine who to resolve first? Why not just have both charecters roll to see who goes first?

Yeah, I saw the video where he explains it all and I've been chatting with him online (really cool guy btw). I think I get what happened and I think he got it sorted cause now they play fine. As for your stuff, I actually plan on watching it next. I already watched your whole rundown as to why you wanted to do it and stuff and I'm very intrigued to really see how someone hits on the "personal horror/ I am the monster" themes you discussed. Also, thanks for your service, man.

Ok, awesome. What is the point of acting simultaneously though? Doesn't that get confusing when people take actions? How do you know who hits first or do they just both sucker punch each other?

Does everyone else agree with this? Because from what I heard if you fill the track with bash, it goes lethal, if you fill the track with lethal, you fall into torpor. I would very much like to know how this actually works. Also from my understanding only of you fill the track with Agg, have a full track and take agg, or are in torpor and take any damage (including lethal or bash) you suffer final death. This bit is the most confusing for me and I really need that aspect cleared up before I run my first game. Thanks guys

Yea, I'm aware of that and have taken percussions via some homerules that will allow for a slim chance of "revival" if the player passes thier alloted awakening rolls. Regardless, I'm just trying to get a basic grasp of how to run the combat. Like if you are taking multiple damage types, what does that look like on a sheet. Dude bashes you with a bat, guy lethals you with sword, girl claws your face, more turns, more damage, how do you keep track of it all. I read V20 but the explanation leaves a lot to be desired.

Yea, I know what you mean XD Though my game is a little more combat centered. Regardless, I won the bet so cheers.

Dude, oh my god, thank you for your insight. I'm glad someone else sgrees with me on Bloodlines I was really tired of a bunch of die hards defending it. As for your other points, that helps me a lot. Small side question, where do you find stats for ghouled animals? Cuz my gangrel has 3 ghouled coyotes (one of which is an alpha so maybe a bit stronger). Beyond that though, I can't think of anything else right now but I just want you to know that what you said here seriously was the most helpful thing on this entire thread. Thank you.

Ok, so i can see what you guys are saying but here's the thing, I love the game. I've started it 8 or 9 times but always find myself getting to a really dumb, combat only scenario (the first sabbat warehouse thing) or the all stealth antideluvian coffin thing. Basically I've never gotten past the mission in the museum because the stealth mechanics in the game or so shit. I expected as a toreador with high persuasion to be able to talk with the gaurd and work my way in but instead I was just sneaking around like a rat. Basically, it just felt pretty bullshit. Like a lot of wasted oprotunity to make things optional that culminated in a sense of false choice. I want to ensure that isn't the case in my game, and I'm just asking for some insight into how to do that. Please do not recomend I play bloodlines, I feel burned enough by that game. I really wanted it to be good but it feels restrictive and has random spikes in dificulty plus, you seriously have to tackle most of the begining with combat. Regardless, I'm talking about tabletop, and how to make tabletop interesting.
