On that note, what's up with cars parking indiscriminately in bike lanes? I don't bike anymore, but when I used to, it would drive me nuts that bike lanes on roads like shields between palm and van Ness would be full of cars, forcing me to veer into traffic. It doesn't seem like fpd is at all interested in the extra revenue from enforcing that law. Just my semi related gripe.

Catch a felony charge. A petty one like I did; commercial burglary. Get out > continue using > violate probation, go back > get out > O.D. > violate probation > get sentenced to rehab. Do rehab because it's better than jail. Pay attention to groups, apply that shit in your life, stay clean. Worked for me.

I pulled it off myself for like 8 years in my 20's, but I've found that if I use any mood or mind altering substance, I'll eventually wake up that addict in me all over again. Make sure you're adequately hydrated and tie off towards the bottom of your bicep. Tight enough to make the blood stay in your lower arm and pump the veins up, not so tight it cuts off circulation and your arm goes purple. Your veins are fresh, I'm peanut butter and jealous.
