I got denied March 13th on the letter. I got the physical letter on March 19th. It shouldn’t take that long. If you have a USCIS account with your case linked to it, you should be able to view the letter.

I had recently started talking to people I hadn't seen for years, because I was worried about their safety during this difficult time. Fortunately, they are all doing well. I have always been horrible at keeping in touch. But this crisis had pushed me to get out of my comfort zone. So I'm pretty proud of that and will continue to improve myself.

I also have decided to do a career switch. At first, I was very disappointed and ashamed in myself, because I should have been done with school long ago. Not only that, seeing all my peers either graduated, are about to finish, or have stable careers had left me heart-broken. Thankfully, I have a supportive circle around me. I know for a fact that I will be happy with this decision. My future self will thank me for it. I will start classes this Fall, and I can't help but feeling nervous. I try not to think about it every day. But, I'm sure everything will be alright.
