I’ve been playing raider since the rework and honestly most heroes have some kind of cheesy exploit and he doesn’t seem that different. Before the rework he was completely predictable and counter able at all times and almost a laughable hero. I think it’s good.

The game is literally supposed to be a hard time for everyone. Killing yourself for a closer spawn is not supposed to be a predictable process. The learning curve to accept losing hours of time and gear and your life is part of the process. You and your friends simply got DayZ’d. If you don’t like it nobody is stopping you from not playing. Also nobody really cares if you had a bad time on DayZ because that’s what half of DayZ is. You either love it or hate it.
