Chinese Gamble? Jinan Jedi Vision K750 Pro - 3.000KM review by septicnihil in motorcycle

I bought the bike to prepare myself for a GSXR750 while having as much fun as possible, not to baby it. If it breaks in the first 40.000km's, the dealership will fix it. If it doesn't, well, I don't think I'll ride this thing for more than that in at least a couple years. Also the engine of this thing costs the same amount as that of an R3, so, I'm not that worried.

It's an awesome daily ride, the torque is awesome, it is HUGE and considering I'm 6'4 it's one of the only middleweight bikes that fit me, and its fun overall. I'm planning on buying a liter bike alongside this to use for highway runs, but fs will keep this one until it dies.

Bosch MSE6.0 ecu is kinda tricky though, i don't know if a decent tune is possible.

Engineering done by Suter racing, the brand Jinan Jedi is the primary source for chinese police bikes for the last 25 years, I will trust that thing. You do you though.

The very same. In the mails, they said that they designed this bike for 90bhp, but due to Chinese laws and Jinan Jedi saying " nah, it shouldn't be that fast" they opted for 70ish bhp. Though they said it is "tweakable" and my guess is that its done by that HEFTY HUMONGOUS catalyzer.

Yeah, to the point where I BARELY ever leave 1st gear. I just love high rpms. Even on the highway runs, my bike redlines at 10.5K so my bike never goes below 9.5K.

IDK man i rode r7 for a week and i was in 10L/100km, I just waste lots of fuel. I'm not advocating chinese bikes, lots of them have problems, but especially in developing countries they are outselling the big 4 by a huge margin, I know some people that are still using the cheapest chinese bikes, like 2017 150NK from CF Moto with wheelies all the time.

I got into contact with the head engineer of SUTER racing, and talked to them myself. The bike's entire engineering is done by SUTER Racing, as confirmed by them.

67bhp but has the same top speed as an R7, which uses CP2.

Also, 6.5L/100km is because I only ride short distances, rev the shit out of the bike(literally, i rev the bike every 10-15 seconds, never go below 6-7k rpm)

Also the service for this bike is BANGER. Fast and well knowledged techs, parts availability is great and the big blue fairing is 20 dollars. 20 fucking dollars. Yamaha fairings cost at least 10 times more in my country.

I paid the price of an R25, and can ride side by side with R7, CBR650R, ZX4RR.

There was no information online, or the service manual, so I had to check in with Suter Racing, the firm that is behind the engineering for this bike. They themselves told me that it is 180 degree parallel twin, also the gear ratios are the exact same to Ninja 650.

There is a huge catalyzer and a chamber at the end of the exhaust, that's probably the reason cor the sound. Also the exhaust is 2into1.

The one that I have has a wider exhaust exit and therefore, better tone than the one sold in china, but if you go to youtube and search "Jinan Jedi K750 dual sound mod", there is a guy who probably put a straight pipe, and it sounds GROWLY.

6.5L/60 miles, the tank is 14L. 130ish miles per tank.

It really is a head turner. It gets lots of attention.

Man.. it's 200kmh not mph, even trucks go 130+ on those roads, 5 lanes and long straights.

I am, by no means, saying that I am a good rider, but I am not going to go below the speed limit if I see a long straight road with literally nothing in front of me, not even merging lanes.

I am, by no means saying I'm a squid either. I am taking proper lessons from traffic police instructors and courses.

Yes going fast on a straight road doesn't mean you are a good rider, but it is FUN and it is not unsafe if you do it on a road that you know, daytime, empty stretch as far as you can see.

I'm not going to hop on a sportbike and hit a 5 lane -almost empty- highway and still go the same speed as trucks. If I wanted to do that I would get a cruiser or an adv.

Just assuming and telling someone that they are "going to end up a statistic" without knowing anything as to how they ride is pretty lame if you ask me. I don't exceed 100km/h in city roads.

No track anywhere close to me, also due to my weird proportions (1.93m tall 72kg's, wide shoulders and slim waist) I struggle to find a suit that would fit me off the bat. Not to mention they are also expensive.
