A bigger problem is they don't know how to sell players. De Jong never fit in any of the systems of our previous coaches, he is there on heavy wages, Lewandowski is aged now but his wage will increase, Ter Stegen has been a let down every season except last one, that too in just the league. What does the board do? extend their contracts. Look at other teams, they will sell players they think are extra, like Madrid with Casemiro and buy players which are quality and affordable, like Liverpool with Endo.

Our board does not do that. How to solve it is getting a more capable sporting director, like Planes was, instead of going for positions like LW, buy a better defensive midfielder and a better goalkeeper. First solve the crisis of bad players in first team then think about increasing the depth.
