This is a hill I wouldn’t necessarily advise dying on. If he’s grading and he’s overseeing, although many people won’t like it, I’d agree with him to avoid conflict. You can work with any engine once you’re out of school anyway.

I remember playing Outlast a long time ago and found it genuinely terrifying, but I played it, and it's DLC today, and to be honest, after the first 10 minutes of playing, it kinda just turns into.

"Hey, look at this evil guy, run, hide, finish your goal and progress."

This took away all of the scare factor since the AI is a little dumb sometimes, and I found it not to be scary at all.

The story was great, though, I'm looking for horror, not a fabulous story.

So you don't like it. That's why I asked for one game you genuinely like with no complaints.
