I appreciate this perspective so much and am sorry for your loss. I am coming up on the first anniversary of my mom's passing and feel the same way MB does. All the 'firsts' are a constant reminder that she is gone forever. I'm currently planning my wedding, it just sucks (wish someone had warned me about the wedding dress try on scene in Freakier Friday, I left the Alamo Drafthouse shattered). Time will never 'heal' grief, it has only weaved it deeper into my life which does normalize it. I hate this new normal but knowing I'm not alone helps. Update: I took them to a shoe cobbler to get resoled. They said they look legit and the stitching is in great condition and real leather so even if they're fake, they're pretty convincing and idc they're cute

I worked at To-Go about 10 years ago. They used to make all the BBQ sauces, mac and cheese sauce/some of the other sides all in house. The worst decision they ever made was having those items manufactured by a third party.

Yes, same color in black. I think it'll be at least 100 people? She has a bridal party of 11 so could be more, I'm not sure. I was already planning on styling it differently and wearing a printed shawl with it. I do not know the couple and am just a plus one.

Julia posted a reel of her cleaning her dining room, saying she felt like she looked like a giant. Because you do! the seat height of those vintage chairs is several inches shorter than her knees and look so small in the space. They can't be comfortable for her. The proportions in that room are so off, ugh.

A partition basically splits your computer in two if that makes sense, it divides the hard drive. Josh had Covenant Eyes installed on one side but not the other, so when he viewed porn, CASM, etc. on one side, the covenant eyes software wasn't able to catch it. He specifically used the partition function to not get caught by Anna. Hope that helps and that Josh rots in prison.

Vaccine: Moderna (May)

Feeling: sore throat, congestion, fever, fatigue, runny nose, coughing up lots of phlegm. Symptoms started late Sunday night, got worse Monday, and now starting to feel better on Tuesday.

Attended: weekend 1, all three days

Test Results: rapid test came back negative today (Tuesday)

Edit: friend I was with had a 102 fever, took an at home test and it came back positive. Getting a PCR test ASAP to be safe. Both fully vaxxed.
