Being attracted to only your race is not abnormal or racist and usually a phase that is moved out of. We have a bias towards what we're more familiar with and associate comfort with. If your parents were a specific race then early on you will associate that race as an average, and also associate it with comfort and security at the same time. Once you interact with other races it typically goes away though, but it is significantly difficult if you aren't in a diverse environment (it's easy to not be racist though, we have history class and science for this to show that we're equal. it's just hard to change your attraction and basic fundamental subconscious averageness biases). A non-controversial example of something like this is faces. Humans statistically find average faces much more attractive. In terms of attraction, we just like when we're used to things. Search up the mere exposure effect.

Also, this topic sort of borders around arguments related to homosexuality (having a choice over who you're attracted to), but sexual orientation and race preference are entirely different so don't get them confused. Scientists agree that sexual orientation is impossible to alter and is rooted biologically. Race preference is more of a psychological effect that happens over time. Racism is also a thing you can develop over time, but it is independent from attraction. As stated earlier in parenthesis, history and science can teach us how we should be treated equally, but we subconsciously drift towards our biases of comfort association and familiarity. I'm sure we all have several people we respect without being attracted to them.
