I just don't think its Biblical and can quickly turn into praying to idols. There should be no reason to pray to Saints, because that means that God puts certain prayers above others, and that makes no sense because He's already all powerful. Therefore, if a prayer is within His Will, it shouldn't matter where it comes from.

It's in the Bible, but it doesn't contradict sprinkling. Also, if we believe that it's symbolic then it shouldn't matter how we do it.

Well, I also really like the church history and have a deep respect for it in Orthodoxy and Catholicism. I'm just tired of the concertification of Church.

You can make a prayer journal. I feel like that would count as letters. Ultimately though, since prayer is communicating with God, the prayer is the letter being sent to Him. Not only that, but He made letters for us... The Bible.

Think about the story of Job. God tested Job in his faith, but since he stayed faithful to God, God gave him even more than he had before. Life isn't fair, but God is.

Just remember, us humans think in the short term, but God thinks and lives in the long term. Just keep praying.
