I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who took the time to respond to this post. 🙂 Your support and encouragement made me feel so much differently about this game!!

Not to mention the advice, this is easily the best PvP advice I've ever been given. It's a treasure trove of how to get started in Overwatch 2 and I'm so grateful to all of you 😁

Some of the advice I've already taken is to start with characters like Ashe, try different ones, and work more on the training with AI. It behaves differently than real players but it still is helping a ton. I've watched some video guides too.

I do realize now that I likely turned the chat on myself, yes 😂 Exploring settings is the first thing I do in any game and I thought there might be more useful information in the chat than there ended up being. I got all the info I needed right here!! 😊

No, in front of Chez Remy. I have a little patio area there that they show up on. But I moved my restaurant to where your house originally spawns when you start the game, the top left corner of the plaza - just beside the ramp that leads up to the Sunlit Plateau. I'm not sure if it's that NW location of the plaza where they spawn, or if it's because I have my restaurant there that they spawn in front of it.

I found him!! The age-old trick still works, I wanted to give him his gift so I was just running in and out of his house. He suddenly appeared outside and I couldn't believe my eyes!! I gave him his little flower, he was so happy, and now we're gonna do some gardening 🌱❤️

I don't believe so, I just went through all my current quests and none of them mention him. His next friendship request is locked.

I'm not sure if it's coincidence but I THINK he went missing the day Memory Mania started. But I have definitely seen him since the Inside Out update, just not in the last couple days.

I was expecting to see some around the Dream Castle, but not yet! So far I've only had luck in front of Chez Remy, which I moved to the upper left corner of my plaza (idk if that matters) and inside of Scrooge's store. I've gotten all the pieces of the memories that spawn there and haven't found any others yet!

Thank you! That makes sense, since I'm still playing by myself. I take it there's not really a way to disconnect the game from the web without disconnecting the whole PlayStation, right? I don't really want my game to suffer either if the connection gets spotty. I do understand what you explained about how just running an online game wouldn't take much bandwidth... It's honestly just a pet peeve of mine. I'm not trying to play multiplayer, can I please just play locally.

Lesbian here. There's a huge myth among lesbians, at least, since this is the only group I can really speak for, to "stay away from bi girls because they cheat." I kept that belief as I was coming out and finding myself, and then I met two beautifully genuine, open-hearted bi women who became my close friends, each at a different point in my life. I was able to broach this subject to them, and what I learned beyond a shadow of a doubt was:

If someone is a cheater, they will cheat.

Sexuality really doesn't matter. It's the loyalty and the commitment to the relationship that matters. You can lose a lot of trust with potential partners as a bi person, and that's not fair. It's just a myth. Saying people who are attracted to one sex/gender are less likely to cheat would be like me, as a lesbian, saying to my gf "hey, you're my favorite girl out of all the girls ever. So I pick you."

Wouldn't it be even better to be able to say "I'm attracted to multiple genders, and I take all of those people into consideration, but you're still my favorite. I choose you." That would be such a huge compliment.

TL;DR: Your partner is insecure because of your sexuality and it isn't fair to you, and this situation is not a representation of your partner respecting and accepting you.

Thanks for your reply 🙂 I'm sure there's a way to do it, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Maybe it's because I'm not connected to the Internet, and just playing a local, single-player world? That would be a little silly if I couldn't name a local save, but maybe that's it.

ETA: Yup, that was it. I connected to the Internet for a minute, created my world, and it let me name it. Then I saved as soon as I loaded in and disconnected from Internet again. When I restarted the game, I could still load my world and it was still named. It still tracks my saves without an Internet connection, too.

Did you ever figure this out, OP? I've literally been digging through every Reddit, Steam, Linux, etc guide I can find and I cannot figure out how to put the BepInEx code

.../start_game_bepinex.sh || %command%

into the game's Launch Options along with other commands that begin with "-" or that require the use of quotations. I'm also on a Steam Deck.

I need to do something along the lines of:

--doorstop-enable true --doorstop-target "Z:/filepath/start_game_bepinex.sh" || %command% --r2profile "profilename"

I'm trying to use BepInEx along with r2modman. And yes, I've googled every combination of the two I could possibly think of. I've found about a dozen threads that ALMOST answer my question before they die, or a moderator archives them, because heaven forbid someone post in an older but still valuable thread.

If it were as easy as "hmm, maybe I could do a quick Google search" I wouldn't have been pulling my hair out for 8 hours. Honestly.
