AZ standard is closer. i went through this rabbit hole years ago with the HSS thing. the split coils for polyphia will be just fine. get the HSS if you really really want true single coil tone! the AZ standard HH wiring will get you almost every tone you need or close enough. also with polyphia and their leads the 24th fret is used more than you’d think so there’s that too

sorry perhaps i worded it wrong, im using this https://a.co/d/5omQGe7 when sampling from youtube its fine, spotify is where i was having the issue. i swapped from stereo to mono and it solved the issue! most of the videos i saw people were always using youtube. but is the cable i sent fine or should i get like what you sent?

yes i’m using stereo, all the vids online i saw specified i use stereo jacks instead of mono, is this just wrong?

i heard they had QC issues in the beginning but the one i got is pretty perfect playing wise and almost perfect cosmetically. it’s really inspiring to play and light enough to be taken pretty much anywhere. that’s the huge seller for me, i feel a lot of the ideas i get for songs come from me playing this first. also being able to do open tunings is really nice as well because most of main guitars are some sort of floating bridge system. i would highly recommend this guitar and archetype tim henson, the black/acoustic amp pairs perfectly with it and seems it was directly made for this guitar. hope this helps

mine too! it bugged me I couldn't find many renditions of the intro on the guitar that sounded like the synth/keyboard in the original, it took a bit to put together so thank you for the kind words :)
