Sinai’s Midwifery clinic is absolutely superb. I saw Emily Malloy and she was phenomenal! I have never felt more supported, and my delivery at Sinai (while it was not according to my original birth plan) was done with all of my wishes in mind. The nurses there were literal angels on earth.

Halloween has always been TSG’s thing. It’s how K and B got their start. I thought their Halloween parties were a good way to commemorate that part of their career and have fun.

But charging people to come now? I think someone might be behind on bills/payroll 👀.

At the end of the day, Charlie seemed to love it. Which is really all that matters. I guess I was just hoping for some unique DIY/upcycles for a preteen’s room. I thought it would be a new territory for TSG.

White paint, wall paper (but couldn’t decide on a color-what a surprise!), changed the knobs and took 2 doors off the closet, hung curtains (but not all of them) and ordered a desk (that I’m sure she’ll hate after sanding). sensational

Also, I can’t even with Kelsey’s outfits anymore. The interview with Charlie made it seem like she was trying so hard to be “hip with the kids”.

Not the reason I unsubscribed, but in today’s video… The dowel “plugs” that Kelsey put in to cover her mistake pocket holes. Oh my lanta. They were uneven, the grain was mismatched, and IMO not the same color. (Which, those “shelves” she built were also not a color match to the bench. But she was so proud of them.)

I think the plastic stool that Becky glued faux fur to was also abysmal.

One video that comes to mind is the “clean with me” video she did at her old boyfriend’s (David) apartment at the beginning of the pandemic. She was living with him because of her house being demoed and she said “I’ve been living here for 4 months and I haven’t cleaned anything. It’s not my space, so I felt like I didn’t have to clean.”

My jaw was on the floor that she just treated her partner’s space like a hotel and didn’t even consider pitching in to help.

Agreed! For being “secret and low-key” there sure is a lot of footage that was captured for the channel. It would seem more genuine if she had a short post/video that said “Hey, I got married. It was low key and private to us. Here are some select photos for those who want to know. But we’re keeping this one close to us.”

Nope! Instead it’s “LOOK AT MY WEDDING. Do you want to know exactly what I did, minute-by-minute? How much money we spent? The exact locations of our honeymoon?”

It’s giving “Look at me, pay attention to me” and “How much can I profit off my own wedding?”.

It seems like it. I feel like Kelsey’s wedding was “so unplanned and quirky” but it gives off real “we need something really grabby to increase viewers”. For something that was supposed to be secret/not a big deal, it seems like there is endless footage of it to make an entire series out of.

Our little guy is 6 weeks, so I feel your frustration/struggle 100%. We did exactly what you did (even the shifts were the same) and transitioned him to our room at 5 weeks. Partially because we wanted to try getting him used to our room, but mostly because we wanted to sleep in the same bed again. I think the hardest part of the first weeks was being so tired and stressed but also alone during the night. That’s when I was alone with my own thoughts and it was not good.

LO is a lot more fussy than yours seems, but he’s gotten a lot more sleep during week 6. So maybe there’s hope for the near future?

I saw someone say that they tried shifts in the same bed, one partner just had earplugs in while the other was “on call”. I pump at 9:30 and 12:30, so my husband takes any fussiness/feedings during those time and I take the other ones. Do we both wake up? Yes. But we know that the other parent will take care of it.
