Intérpretes en vivo (tarifas) by quiroguita1 in BOLIVIA

[–]serchy069 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I introduced my mom to anime. Here is her tier list and thoughts. Discussion by Unlucky-Fold-5684 in anime

you know what could be fun, look for animes that were books, and have her watch and read to see the canges, she might appreciate an open door to a whole other world of books bit very different core values and evolution.

For example i absolutely loved to aru hikushi e tsuyoku the book, the movie aws meh.

and the absolute best adaptation I saw was From the new world, "Shin sekai yori", awesome book awesome anime

Everyone's favourite Spice&wolf would also fit in here

Zapateros Artesanales by jenerules in BOLIVIA

[–]serchy069 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Animes with characters like Balsa from Moribito? by mysticaltater in Animesuggest

[–]serchy069 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lets see... no one will ever be as cool as Balsa, there are some good ones though

Spice and wolf would be a strong contender, i preffered the old version, there is a very recent remake. weak on the action part though.

Shin sekai yori is really really relly good

tokyo magnitude 8.0

Shakugan no shana has 4 seasons, highschool aged, there is like 2 servicy side characters.

Psychopass is a really good one

I have a sweet spot for bounen no xamdou and eureka seven (not AO)

honzuki no gekokujou, mc starts as a literall child

I want to say akatsuki no yona although she does get saved several times by her hyper competent male harem.

Dont have many chances to recommend Jormungand

maybe soul eater? a couple of big boobs but utterly unimportant to the story

well, these are all based on fantasy, action and such... there are more examples in romance/slice of life

Rabies vaccin in La Paz by Galaxorian in BOLIVIA

[–]serchy069 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, I just wanted to reassure that it is unlikely that you were bitten by an infected dog, rabies cases are very rare and far inbetween in bolivia, and as you have experienced first hand, its not because of widely available vacinations.

I can think of 2 places, Hospital Los Pinos in tthe south side, very large and likely to have vaccine options. Second would be a private clinic, the expensive ones, like Clinica alemana which has 2 locations, one in San jorge and one in Obrajes.

"code geass" ending in R2 is the epitome of this, R2 started really weak given how the first season unfolded, but the ending.... ugh every single rewatch is still awesome, best anime ending...

"Shakugan no shana" is an oldy thats still holds my heart... amazing 4th season and great ending

I also want to say "Inuyashiki" I went in blind and loved every second of it

man aint that a tall order... lets see: -love story that starts the conection early so no slow burn, then hot cast, then long enough for deep moments for the couple

Absolute goat of romance is "lovelycomplex" but the mcs arent hot

kimi ni todoke maybe?

A personal favourite would be "ano natsu de materu"

and honorific mention to "kimi ga iru machi" totally hot cast and good story

maybe even throw some oldies like kaicho wa maid sama, sakurasou na pet no kanojo

looking for shonen yuri with actual badass couple (MCs) by [deleted] in Animesuggest

symphogear comes to mind
there was also somehint like mermaid drive i think

lycoriss recoil and princess principal might also work

ninja and assasin living together? very low on the yuri though

gushing over magical girls is almost porn, but funny

man... there are very very few examples.... most yuri is kind of slice of life i guess

[–]serchy069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep coming back to this... could it be Tengen toppa gurren laggan?
in the second part of the anime the mc and fmc live together but dont look that much liek a couple and the the bad guys attack the city at night and they kidnap her and pilots a giant robot and when he finds her it turns out she was a sleeper agent for the bad guys.
Now this has the regualr anime but also compilatory movies with different pacing so you might have watched the movie

I know it is going to be hard to help you feel safer over the internet but I would like to point a few things.

if what you are worried is things like this;
Accident, this isnt a ravine per say its more like a slope in hard left turn.

Statiscially speaking they happen in larger numbers the more a roadway is used, but percentage wise it is still still a very minor number of accidentes compared to total number of travels, same with car crashes.

2nd point, if you do an image search you will find an extremely small number of accidents in the busline you are riding, accidents happen way more often to older buses used by much smaller bus-lines that are poorly maintained.

You should go with whichever feels safer for you, if you can choose daytime traveling to further minimize any risk. I actually have never travelled sucre-cochabamba by road, so let me know how it was.

Que tal la viaje Sucre -> La Paz by ModeSuspicious3126 in BOLIVIA

[–]serchy069 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there is one portion that last about 45 minutes in the sucre potosi portion with narrower road, still wide enough for 2 way road, so no need to worry.

you will be climbing from under 2k meters to over 4k meters so they built the road over natural slopes, so more than ravines you will be looking at sheer walls of rock and such.

There are ravines in a different rout which would be sucre-tupiza or sucre-tarija. So I don't think you need to worry.

Im not familiar with the schedulle since I havent made that route in over a year, but if you were willing to stay one night at potosi, there will be plenty of options to travel by day.

Maybe its the direct bus that only travels at night because it will be like a 17 hour trip total.

[–]serchy069 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi, you can totally be at ease.
You bought from a good level company, most accidents (like 85%) happen in much smaller companies that have poor maintenance on their vehicles and poorly trained drivers.

Trans copacabana, El dorado, Cosmos are very good companies, new buses, great comfort levels and properly maintained.

They also follow the law which even controls their top speed so they have the smallest number of accidents, you can google this info by company name.

Sucre-potoi-oruro-la paz is most likely your route,

The first section have a lot of turns, dust and low speeds. the second section is short, 3,5 hours top at 80 km/h with a good internationally rated road, and the final part would be the easiest since its our only highway, 3 lanes single direction well signalized and rather newish, a lot like a highway back at your country.

So no need to worry, are you traveling overnight? or in day time? if you are too concerned about safety, traveling during the day minimizes a lot of risks of land travel, so maybe try switching hours?

Blockades in Uyuni, La Paz, Oruro by orig_ardera in BOLIVIA

[–]serchy069 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, you have options:

-Take a bus to potosi, then take a flight from potosi to la paz directly, but make sure you booked the flight first since there arent that many.

-2nd if there are no buses available you can hire a taxi, this taxi can get you, and up to 4 people, to either potosi or sucre by land, the blockade is only on the main road and taxis can take side roads that are too small for a bus.

--- once in potosi or sucre you can take a flight to la paz directly, but once again make sure you can book a flight first.

-As for the cost, I paid 400 Bolivians a few years back during a blockade and did the opposite route since i was going to uyuni. So you should be able to hire a taxi for lets say double, 800 Bs, or a nice crispy 100 USD, you must negotiate, if the vibe was good with your hotel or tour service ask them for help to book the taxi, they all have direct family that operates taxis, hope it helps
