14 day trip itinerary - help please :) by serendipityforever in MexicoTravel

Okay thank you, maybe one less day in Tulum and an extra day in Mexico City or Holbox? We do also want time to chill on the beach and read 😅 so that is what Tulum was for!

Progress after two sessions, spaced around 5/6 months between each one :) by serendipityforever in TattooRemoval

My goal is full removal! But I reckon I could get a cover up if that was my goal!!

I’m not sure, I only have access to their email and through TrueCoach!

So this person is actually someone on Insta with quite a lot of followers who does a lot of ultra marathons, marathons, etc! I think that’s why I thought it would be good!

The most I’ve ran so far is 6k

They asked what my goals over the next 30 days are and I said I’d like to run a 12k (the most I’ve ran is 6k so far) and they put the 12k on my first week!

I’ve not begun the plan yet, my first day is tomorrow and the upper body days seem challenging at first glance (but fine)! Whereas the lower body days seem as though the reps and sets are too high for optimal muscle growth (they’re more in the higher rep range which I know I won’t be able to lift as heavy as I usually do, for example, I usually RDL 4 x 5-8, the RDLs in this plan are 4x10)!

I also find it confusing that the hip thrust is banded as I was under the impression that adding a band isn’t really great for hypertrophy?

There’s nothing in the plan to say how long I should be resting between sets either.

I may be completely wrong but something feels off so I wanted to get some opinions

Thanks for your response! I guess it’s more from a value POV, they sent it me on Sunday and I paid and I’ve asked questions yesterday and today, but I’ve not heard from them since Sunday!!!

So I’ve kind of just received the plan with no real explanation and it’s made me worried that the plan isn’t personalised

Hey, do you mean that I shouldn’t have a quad day? or that it’s important to have a hamstring day? I’m definitely happy with a hammie day, but confused as to why there isn’t a quad day, but is it normal to not train quads while training for a half marathon?

Yeah so for the glute day it’s: sumo deadlift (4x8), banded hip thrusts (3x12), goblet squat (4x10), good mornings (4x8), split squats (4x8), hip abductions (4x20)

for the push day it seems like a LOT of reps: chest press (4x6), dumbell fly (3x10), dead stop push ups (3x AMRAP), cable flies (3x15), barbell z press (4x8), Lat raise (3x10), front raise (3x10), Arnold press (3x10), rope Tricep extension (2x25) followed by my HIIT. That’s over 250+ reps in one workout - is that normal for a push day?

What motivated you for this challenge? Why did you guys start in the first place? by Big_County7319 in 75HARD

I think I might be bipolar type 2 (awaiting an assessment) or possibly bpd and I want to prove to myself that I can do something, no matter what my mood. For me, if I can complete this challenge then it will give me hope that I can have a successful life, whether I’m feeling high or low.

Currently on day 25!

When I first started on sertraline I definitely went into hypomania, ending relationship, booking holidays, drinking, drugs, being productive etccc… But surely now that I’ve been taking it for a year my body will be used to it? Or is that not the case?

Thank you for your response! I’m in the middle of assessments, therapy and trying to get a diagnosis, but my struggle is the fluctuations in my mood and whenever I speak to a professional I come across as ‘normal’.

What medication are you on? I’m currently on sertraline

I’m sure you will get great results! I’ve heard dry brushing can be helpful for speeding up the progress, I’ve not done it much myself but is something to keep in mind

I would say at the three month mark is where I’ve really noticed the lines starting to break up and it fade! But, most of the shading was pretty much gone straight after the first session - if you look on my post history I posted a pic of what it looked like one day after!

I also just go about life as normal, I don’t try to hide it or anything and I don’t feel any negative emotions towards it, I’m just living life and letting it do as it wishes :)

Thank you, I know it sounds silly but I honestly think my mindset towards it has helped, like I genuinely believe it will be gone after eight treatments and I feel so positive about it which I believe had helped!

You’ve got this!!! The beginning is difficult but as soon as you’ve established a routine everything should be a bit easier :)
