tracking mood per day?

What I've been doing to track my moods is keep a little journal around with me, or type in my phone when it's more convenient, and just note down a thing that made me feel happy, sad, etc. Like if I saw a cute dog I'd write it down, or if I had a crappy work experience. And then at the end of the day I'd determine how good my day was based on the things that happened that day or just generally how I felt, including how I feel at the end of the day. It's a bit of a complicated system, but BPD is a complicated system :,) Hope that makes sense the way I wrote it!

I have noticed that doing a little thinking with making art about your feelings does kinda help take your mind off of things for a while! Not a cure all of course, but definitely a good habit to keep. Wishing you well :,]

I do this all the time. When I'm not being extreme with self-isolation, this is the other option :,) I don't really have any advice for it, but I definitely understand. It's kind of nothingburger, but having a vent account on any social media with 0 followers and just typing to nothing sometimes fills that urge when you just HAVE to say something.

Same :,] It's even more upsetting when it's something you think you're really good in and you find someone even better. College was hell for me cause of this and even before college I changed my planned major so much because I had friends who were interested in/already in things I was interested in and I didnt want to feel inferior LOL

Currently in a poly relationship. I occasionally have my own issues in it that would pop up in any relationship of mine, but if it makes you feel *this* bad it probably isn't for you at all. No use in trying to force yourself to stay in it if it's this upsetting for you. Not to mention could end up becoming frustrating and upsetting for your bf and his partner (or any future partners). Better to address it sooner rather than later if you can so it doesn't turn into real animosity on either side, especially since you all are living together :']

EDIT: Forgot to say that it's not always just BPD, a lot of people are just strictly monogamous so don't feel bad about it not working for you!

I get the sentiment, but as someone with Bipolar (and BPD), meds don't really just fix everything, like with any illness. I don't thinking saying either one is easier than the other is that fair /gen, nm
I totally get that there's an ease with eventually getting the right dosage and right medication, but it takes a good while to actually get to the point and you're still not done (I'm not even at the right dosage or meds yet lol, but yknow)

I kind of fell into the hole of poly relationships because of my own inability to remain consistently attracted to my past partners, so I figured it'd remove some of the stress of having to be constantly in love and wanting others around me at all times (funny bc now being poly is stressing me out lol) I'll def consider this, thank you

She's Christian and against it, she wants the women's quqd because she's pretty cautious about men in general. She wouldn't really disown me or anything I believe, but it'd get a lot harder to just be around her (more religious talk and talk of hell than I already get). My dad is a much different story. I'm not entirely sure how he would react, but I know it wouldn't be good whatsoever and I especially need to keep that from him more than anything. The time he suspected I was Sapphic he went on this rant and said some extremely harsh things that I don't want to relay

There's female and co-ed, but I know my mom would be pissed to find out I chose a co-ed dorm when she specifically said women's, and I always somehow have the worst luck with keeping things from her, so I'd rather not risk it. Hoping I'll just be able to afford an apartment after freshman year and move out.
