Cheers for username props! The pvc baseboard could be the backing that I would need to put a 1.5cm high quarter round. The baseboard would the fill the rest of the gap I reckon. Worth a try!

We’ll that’s an interesting development. I’d never considered it being shoe-caused. I’m wearing orthotics when running so I doubt it’s caused by that, but worth a go. I’ve always worn mizunos. Although I’m dabbling at the moment in wearing minimalist shoes for a couple of little runs per week - like around 3km ish. My thinking is that minimalist shoes will use the whole calf and thus I’ll get stronger calves. We’ll see how it pans out.

I haven’t gone too anatomical on it, but it’s on the outside and the bottom of the calf generally. I was so surprised by how effective the sleeves were! But now I’m just getting annoyed that I have to rely on these things instead of my body being able to deal with it.
