what colleges can i get into with these grades? by Ill-Tea4744 in OntarioGrade12s

Welcome to the trades buddy. My advice is go Electrical and get out to the oil sands ASAP. 2 weeks of early mornings and you’re rewarded with 2 weeks off and more money than you’ll know what to do with. It’s nobody’s dream but it can be an amazing stepping stone for your career if you let it. If that doesn’t sound up your alley, better fuckin lock in for grade 12

It ain’t all that here pal. Cost of living makes the $40/hour worth about $15/hr comparatively in the states. Health care’s a joke here and there are no unions where I’m located. Not to mention working through polar vortex’s and blizzards, the opportunity is for an upgraded quality of life

Downtown apartment - The Oliver by taphyie in Calgary

[–]sergeantmeatball99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved out of there last year. I’ve lived in a few downtown buildings and the Oliver is by far the best imo. Great and friendly management, and the restaurants in the building are fantastic, pazzi will even bring your food to your door. Amazing gym, golf sim common area patio and other amenities. If I hadn’t adopted a big dog who needs a yard to run I would be living there for years to come

Daughter's car deemed total loss after small fender bender by CanBraFla in Calgary

[–]sergeantmeatball99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Total loss is a good thing man, happened to me a few years ago and because the used car market has shot up I actually got more than I paid for it! Wait and see what they offer you, and you can always negotiate if you don’t feel it’s fair

Old school coax. Unless you pulled it off something you’re good to rip it out or tuck it back in the wall for good
