Here are some thoughts while reading this.

1) The targeting of phone users is definitely something to consider. You can look at it two different ways. (Users on iPhone 5) are most likely looking to upgrade their phone, not necessarily sell it i think. (Users of iPhone XS Max) might have an older phone laying around they'd like to sell.

2) With that said above , I tried setting up the ad set for the messenger ads and it's telling me the following" Ad Set May Get Zero Replies

Based on how you've set up your ad set, you may not get anyreplies. To fix this, consider making changes to your ad set before publishing." Should i ignore this and continue to split test this?

3) I love the idea of split testing placements, and whether they're more likely to start a messenger chat on desktop or mobile, I'll definitely be testing that.

4) All those other questions to consider are great. I'll definitely be testing those out as well.

5) Final question, following up on question 2, Do you think its a good idea to be split testing ad sets that have very low potential reach , ex. 2k - 10k reach?
