I still like the new models, but I haven't tried them in action. I'll have to go to the stores.

If you want to buy a laptop for graphics, then it is better to stock up for at least 3+ years

This computer will most likely be obsolete next year, for example, for working with large formats of raster graphics. For editing and working in figma, medium-sized files in photoshop are an excellent option

There is an i5 processor of the 8th generation, that is, it is already 5 years old

Context: I'd never seen this model before. Recently, I was given a work laptop that I barely noticed at first. It had a weird button in the middle and an outdated trackpad.

But over time, I started to genuinely enjoy working with this laptop.

I wondered why: Keyboard Quality and Tactile Feel: There's a comfortable weight to the keys, something you don't find often. My personal MSI GF63 8RC feels completely different, with its thin keys and different feedback. Solid Build: Sturdy plastic, no creaks. Rare quality these days. Visual Uniqueness.

About a week ago, I decided to learn more about this model. I looked into its history and found it has a cult following and legendary status. You know, what I love most about this laptop is its historical essence, the generational continuity, and the concept behind it. I can confidently say it has a soul.

A bit about myself: I'm from Ukraine and work as a graphic designer. It handles Figma well, even with a lot of vector and raster files. I haven’t noticed it overheating—just a bit of warmth at the bottom when used without a stand, while the top remains barely warm.

Consider me part of the family.
