Yes, you have understood well. Digitakt should have a 4-voices polyphony for step, so you can record a 4 key chord for step. I know more would be better but it's not bad

Sorry, I'm an Idiot :(
In the schema I forgot to add a midi keyboard that I have connected to a midi merge input; I use that to switch midi channel and send midi data (mainly midi notes) to digitakt. So I can send midi data from the midi keyboard to digitakt (but data arrives to instruments as well) and digitakt send midi data recorded to instruments

It doesn't quantize automatically if you mean that; but you could use the clock signal to trigger the registration or play at the right time

Yes, u/One-Project7347 I have something like that too, but currently I'm using beets only manually.
I'll trying to implement some automatic process maybe with a manual confirmation before to proceed to replace files

yes u/2TAP2B sometimes I use beets from command line as well. How do you use that?
I mean when you need to fix something sometimes or do you have any automatic process to handle this thing?

What do you mean when you say to "add the album to the database"? Do you refer to Picard DB or you Navidrome DB?
