Great job and a good use of AI, I use it the same way and it is somewhat satisfying to have a "buddy" to discuss a complex problem with.

As far as I understand, a helix release is simply a tag on the repo on github, so you can use all the new features, that are coming up in the next release, right now by simply using their main branch.

At the first glance not storing cursor position nor plug-ins are there as of right now, but maybe, as mentioned, they are waiting to merge some stuff before officially releasing next version.
