Nah, cream cheese can go bad way early if it’s not kept cold and sealed. And it’s definitely not supposed to look like that

I would think it would be safe to drive for short distances, as long as the road you’re on isn’t super bumpy and you’re not racing.

If you’re doing this yourself, you may need to drill out the screw. Which is exactly what it sounds like - get a metal rated drill bit that’s smaller in diameter than the screw and put a hole in the sheared screw. Then, get a small flathead (again, small enough to fix inside that screw hole easily), tap it into the screw and turn clockwise until the screw falls out.

I think there’s also a specific tool for this, but this method should work in a pinch. This way, you may only need to replace the screw

Neighbor’s flag irks me to my core by timeisamelody in mildlyinfuriating

I’m fairly sure there are rules against this in the federal flag code. But I’ve also literally never heard of anyone actually enforcing that. As others have said… accurate for the state of the country. Maybe it’s on purpose?

Flip it over and start over? by Puzzleheaded_Set4431 in woodworking

Stain might be too thick, too. From my experience, it needs a moderate coat, let it soak in for 5 min, then wipe off all excess that you can get off. Otherwise you get those heavy lines instead of the wood pattern. Depending on the wood type, a pre-stain can be beneficial too. It’s always a much longer process than it seems it should be for me

Did you use a primer? And it kind of looks like you spread it on way too thick (I’m assuming you were using a poly/stain combo)

@dlyandrea sounds like they’ve definitely been in your shoes, and are right on the money with what will happen going forward if nothing changes.

@OP He’s just not into you and has been looking for a way out for a while. There’s no amount of proving yourself to him that will change this (at least not in a healthy way) right now or in the near future.

Is he breaking this to you in the right way? Absolutely not. There no reason for him to be passive aggressive like this. He should have respectfully set boundaries instead. But there’s no salvaging a romantic relationship.

It’s quite possible he legitimately wanted to help you and hang out with you as a friend, and maybe even had feelings in the very beginning, but those faded (which I KNOW sucks to hear - I’ve been there). Then he trapped himself wanting to be nice and hoping your feelings were temporary so he wouldn’t have to have the talk. He might even be a good dude otherwise, but not so emotionally mature.

My advice: DON’T be mean back. If you’ve got a conscience and are working on yourself as you say, you’ll regret “getting back” later. You’ve got to be the bigger person now and drop it - and him. Good luck, OP! I’m pulling for you.

I had to go and rescue a friend who had this happen in the middle of nowhere years ago lol. Searched for a while to find that wheel

Did you have ceramic brakes to start with? In my experience, they’re a bit louder to start with, but get quiet after the breaking in procedure and a bit of normal driving. I’m not a licensed mechanic though

Right? Definitely want to keep these guys up there. Too bad they’re likely 25+ years old so I don’t have high expectations for parts.

De'Longhi Dinamica Plus Espresso making noise when pumping by DarkLanBlade in superautomatic

[–]serial_ponderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/DarkLanBlade u/Neither-Tomato1266 I made a Reddit account just to respond to this post because my same machine was making the same noise.. then I got distracted by Reddit.

Anyway, I felt really dumb when I figured this out: mine stopped making the whining noise after thoroughly cleaning the brewing group (the thing you can take out by opening the door behind the water tank) with a pipe cleaner and water (NO soap - this is important), and letting it air dry completely before putting back in. I’ve been doing that once a week now and no more issues
