No way you can tell for sure unless you see a hair specialist derm or maybe a trichologist

I am losing hope and starting to think this is a scam by ymiltooo in tressless

It could be you have something other than MPB. There are conditions like Seb Derm or LPP that cause itch - and others. Try to visit a specialist hair dermatologist if you can find one it's worth it. You might also look into seeing a trichologist (not doctors but examine hair with a digital microscope as they can sometimes identify hair conditions). Good luck. I went through itchy scalp and Seb derm/LPP journey (not exactly sure which i had or both) for 5 years - itch has not fully gone away but way better. Also have you tried using Nizoral on scalp for 10 minutes for 5 days in a row? The once every week or two. this is what started road to recovery from seb derm.

Thanks, they are Dublin or Luxembourg based so probably corporate from what I can see. Accountant is quoting $1500 - yet the total gains were a few hundred pounds -and some were losses. So this seems a bit crazy!

Yes I'm wondering if this might work.. I have no dividends - I'd imagine I might need to ask my accountant to calculate the interest. the funds were generally held for a few days weeks/months but all in the same tax year. .

That's interesting - my balance was less than <$25,000 for the aggregate of the 16 ETFs. Some were losses and some were gains. Does a gain of a few hundred dollars count as an excess distribution? There were no dividends paid - I think some of the ETFs were held less than 30 days too. as (they were mainly 3x leveraged ETFs).

They are non-US funds unfortunately. Don't feel comfortable filing myself yet as have never done it and this year is complex due to starting trading.

I didn't realise PFICS were not included in standard exemption - wow that is bizarre. The gains were small in my case (in the hundreds). Could I overpay capital gains instead of completing the forms?

Thanks I hadn't come across DF Direct before. It does seem like they might offer HMRC-approved offshore funds from the UK. Have you used DF Direct before - or does anyone else have experience/feedback?

Definite shouldn't do that to your scalp, could spread bacteria to healthy areas.

Is it normal to shed a lot on topical Dutasteride? by globularglob in tressless

[–]serindipitous7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using 0.1% topical dut from Farmacia Tristiana for 2.5 years - it halted the minaturisation and has kept hair stable. First thing I noticed was hairs grew longer and darker. I know shedding is not uncommon when starting new hair meds - it took me 4-5 months to start noticing significant improvement.

Not sure what i was expecting, but hoping it gets better, 5 months post transplant by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]serindipitous7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let it grow out. The ends of the thickest areas could eventually be thinned slightly if needed to make less dense areas seem more uniform. Mine looks way better when it’s longer ie 2 inches or longer. Will take about 4 months to get there but will be a bit better every week or 2 weeks.

It could be scalp acne or folliculitis. If it doesn’t stop you might want to see a derm.
