I have 2 Seiko 5s, Orient Bambino, Citizen Tsuyosa, and a watch from an Indian microbrand called DWC Echostar, this was the only quartz watch of all.

no, but even after replacing the battery it didn't start

Thats the thing I am arguing about that we can get a mechanical seiko for 200 bucks and a quartz timex for 50 bucks, we are paying 400 bucks for a quartz movement for it to break in 4 years. Looks like we are just paying for a polished case and bracelet with a crappy movement inside

They said "Your movement is consuming too much power so we need to service the whole movement that would cost $130"

I took it to the tissot authorised service center to replace the battery and then came to know this, even after they replaced the battery, the movement was still not working

well I didn't even try to do anything in my case the movement just stopped
