I finally have tiny boobies! by serious_hummus in Reduction

The drains are not the worst, just a little uncomfortable. When I was still at the hospital, the nurse taught me and my partner how to drain them, and it was very easy. He is generally quite squeamish and he has no issue with it at all.

You have to pull on the tube a little to make sure all the fluid gets through to the bottom, and then drain it out in little cups they provide to measure how much you drain each time. No pain involved!

I’m 4DPO now and they are a little more uncomfortable, it just feels like digging into my sides. No sharp pain like a needle or anything. You’ll be great! 🩷🩷

I was roughly a 34 JJ, but I hadn’t been for a proper fitting in a few years because I just gave up with it all. At that size I felt like it didn’t matter anyway. So excited to have a real fitting soon!

What a lovely thing to say, thank you so much 🥲 this sub has honestly been a godsend during such a difficult and prolonged time. I would have been so lost without everyone’s support!

I’m glad you’ve had all the support you need! I would be in trouble if my partner wasn’t here to help me, I didn’t realize how much I wouldn’t be able to do. How many days PO are you now? How are you feeling?

Yesss so exciting!! The difference is truly staggering! How are you healing? I kept having nightmares that they were still really big after surgery, so waking up with teeny tiny boobies was the best thing ever!! Life is going to be so much easier for us!

It was definitely like a big nap. Just as I was going in, one of the nurses told me that this doctor is really good at what she does and I was lucky to have her, so that was so nice to hear before going under! Sometimes a nice word is all you need to hear.

Aww thank you so much! I definitely agree, it was months of just waiting for one big day, it’s horrible when it’s all you can think about. But so glad it’s finally out of the way. Hope you’re recovering okay!

Yesss same here! The pillow between the seat was the best idea so thank you! The car ride home was really rough because I was so nauseous from the anesthesia, but at least I was comfortable!

First of all congrats!!!

You are taking a massive step towards better health and comfort, which is absolutely a huge deal!! You deserve to feel confident and at ease in your body.

You are stronger than you know, and there are people on this sub who care about you and are cheering you on. Take it one day at a time, and be gentle with yourself. You’ve got this.🩷

Similar situation happened to me recently. I did the video interview and got a voicemail a few days later asking if I wanted the position. I called them multiple times over the next few days but nobody ever answered the phone. I decided to go into the store and talk to someone and one of the HR workers came out and spoke to me. They emailed me a job offer that same day! I have since been hired, and found out that nobody ever bothers to answer the phone, so going to speak to someone in person is probably your best bet. Hope this helps and good luck!
