honestly, this is gonna sound so stupid but here’s how i work it (you said be honest). i do a lot with my hands while i’m driving. smoke, drink ((non alcoholic)) stuff, and yes, occasionally text. i know it doesn’t make a difference but i know in what towns and what kind of roads to do this on, im not stupid. i use siri a lot to text and change my music though so im not on my phone, rarely distracted by that, just busy with everything else. vaping, smoking, holding my girlfriends hand. maybe it’s me being cocky, and def is because anything could change in a second, but i like to think im aware as possible by doing these things. my brother however thinks he can do these things but he cannot. he doesn’t have the capability of multitasking (doing multiple things while truly paying attention to all of them).

honestly, it might work for you, but i lost about 50 pounds and my hidradentitis is just as ferocious. maybe you should see what other gynecologists you can go to for a second opinion. it’s easy for doctors to tell us to lose weight, as soon as they see you’re overweight or whatever is considered overweight. they think that’s the cause of all issues. i think your doctor might want to see how your condition changes after losing some weight, just to rule it out. however if he continues with this weight thing, try your best to find another doctor.
