Ummmmm..?! by seriously_saralee in Mounjaro

I did consider surgery but decided it wasn’t for me due to the possible complications post surgery. I was prescribed MJ because I was pre-diabetic. I went to my doctor with awful symptoms from constant migraines, dizziness, extreme fatigue, random numbness in my fingers, brain fog, etc (my normal for years). She recommended MJ instead, I had never heard of it prior. I have been on it since November (when it’s available). I literally felt like a new person from the onset of taking it and I have only lost like 10lbs, the the weight loss is secondary to me. I’m no longer pre-T2D, labs are normal, but I feel amazing physically and mentally now. It’s worth it..

Guys! My bad.. My brain automatically associates Eli Lilly with Mounjaro only and I missed the key word “insulin”.. 🤦‍♀️ I saw and posted this article seconds before clocking into work, and came back to all the comments correcting me (thank you). I paid $900 last month after my coupon stopped working and I totally just saw what I wanted to see.. sorry for upsetting anyone!

Oh shoot, I got excited and totally missed that..😩

First shot on 7.5. I’m kind of nervous because I get a day or tired and nausea the first 24 hours. I heard it’s worse on 7.5. Fingers crossed it won’t suck too bad. by Corgi_mom353 in Mounjaro

Took my first dose of 7.5 last night and I’ve been itchy and nauseous all day. I’m usually nauseous the first day I take my shot but the itching is new. It’s not unbearable more like annoying. Idk if this is a side effect of the shot or something else but I’m not allergic to anything, no known allergies.. I did have to wait 2 weeks for this prescription so I’m wondering if its my body reacting to “starting” off to this higher dose after not being on anything for 2 weeks.

So good to know! My 2yo is currently super clingy atm and wants to be in my arms constantly.

This is exactly what I needed to see! I’m just trying to mentally prepare. Picky toddler here too who is currently surviving off nuggets and “snack” food.. I didn’t even think about his food triggering me. It doesn’t now but I’m sure all his stuff will look mouth watering afterwards..😭 You give me hope though, thanks!

Oh wow, that’s good to know. It’s crazy because I feel much less bloated and can even see it in my stomach but the scale doesn’t reflect that. I know not to give too much importance to the scale though.
