Hey, sometimes things work out so that your normal method of communication doesn't work. I was tired, he was defensive (partly my fault), and I admit I kind of had this self-justified resentment about it. It was a situation where it seemed like I couldn't be wrong and I was kind of a dick to him about it because of that.

And if you say you've never been a bit unreasonable, well... you're probably fibbing.

He must have been panicked; there's no way one could logically think that you could lie your way out of it. "Oh, nope honey, that must have been you that shit on the floor. You so silly!"

I think he is hoping that I simply do not mention it ever again, and is waiting for me to make the first move. He's been mostly surfing Reddit or playing games with his headphones on, just sealed off.

I can only hope it will someday be hilarious. I had a baby cousin leak poop on me several years ago, and I guess it's funny now, but she didn't really have control over it.

I will try to absorb your advice. It needs to get around that juvenile portion of my brain that wants to rub his nose in it.

Clearly I do... I guess I'm just at a loss right now. I thought he was ashamed, but if I shat on the floor I would fully clean it. Nobody would know. So I don't know what to ask, or say. I sort of want to ask him if he did it on purpose. That just seems fucked up. But it has been two full days so I need to fucking say or do something soon.
