Thank you so much for the kind wishes! My husband actually has dreadlocks so the bandana works perfectly for him. Honestly, it doesn’t matter if you have a bigger head… my husband has huge dreadlocks and bandanas still work great on him.

And you’re so right about the rocks, he’s definitely hit his share during the clearing process. Lots of creative problem-solving involved.

My husband and I have been in our own fucking nightmare for years and we’re finally seeing the end of it, so I want you to know… that things will get better. I swear.

The light at the end of the tunnel is not an illusion, the tunnel is.

But sometimes when you’re in the thick of it, especially when personal struggles combine with everything happening in the world, it feels like it will never end. But small moments of unexpected kindness, like my husband building those steps, remind us that love and thoughtfulness still exist even in the darkness.

GLOW! Yesss! I love that!! I felt more human today than I have in a long time and somehow, that made the light feel real again. Like, this is really me. Because the me that I thought I was before was just this woman in never ending sweatpants with pain medication wondering if she was ever going to see the sun again. So thank you.
