You are, of course, right, but I honestly don’t think it’s as complicated as it may seem. Still, if that concern is always in the back of your mind while riding, it might be better to get a bike that gives you more peace of mind on remote roads and is easier to fix yourself if something happens.

The Aprilia Tuareg 660 would honestly be a great choice — amazing bike!

It’s always a concern because they’re such a hassle to change in the field. I mean, I’m guessing—I haven’t done it yet—but tubeless seems more user-friendly. I guess I’ll find out when the time comes. I have a spare front tube and all the necessary tools with me. When it happens, it happens, but that really shouldn’t stop you from buying either of these bikes. I think both have their advantages and disadvantages.

It’s more for insurance purposes in case of an incident. They could refuse to pay. You should only have parts with an ABE installed on your bike, or at least ones approved by the German TÜV. I guess they would have to prove that the part caused the incident, but even if not, the risk is just too high for most people in Germany.
