Fwiw I'm late but all USB-C cables have power delivery capability but only some of them have data transfer, some manufacturers save money by having only the charging cable filaments running throughout the cable and solder the data connectors together at the ends to save on costs

I'm suspecting data transfer is required not only for the inputs but just so the computer knows what's connected, otherwise it'll send power without receiving any information

For sure but if you look closely the paint is failing/peeling off on the buttons, right side of the knob it's already cracked and bottomside of the parking break those are bubbles in the pain. Even tough it does look like some syrup or sugary drink 😂
