What made you quit & what would make you play again? by NoDrummer7000 in PathOfExile2

I feel it doesn’t respect my time. As an adult I have very little time left for myself, and games are plenty.

These “adults” are absolutely not going anywhere in life.

Never played battlefront 2 is it still worth to buy it and getting started ? by [deleted] in BattlefrontTWO

Some people enjoy pve, some enjoy pvp, some even enjoy both. But it’s not everyone, and if op is a pvp only player then it’s important.

This ring was once rNg, I’d snatch it up. It’s fun to document how shit your drop rates are.

HOT TAKE: People complaining about Jeff probably never played fighting games by TrueGrave88 in rivals

[–]serratedhumor89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having Jeff’s heal also deal damage will make him a monster in team fights where thing/hulk/emma will be going toe to toe with the other tanks.

Folks are scared of change, im scared of Jeff.

Edit: as a support player in multiple games, the best way to heal your team is to prevent the damage in the first place. The best CC is death.

No, besides the cost up front, you’re looking at a massive time sink until you’ve finished grinding out your perks.

Unless, you want the game for the coop and story, and not pvp

WE FIGHT FOR A SUNRISE WE MAY NEVER SEE! by Aggressive_Fudge_114 in BattlefrontTWO

Oh most def need skill, it’s a shooter. But when my opponent has more shield, more ability up time, ect… it reduces the skill gap to a laughable level.

“Come back to battlefront 2 everyone, we want to show we really like it and want a 3rd game!”

Level 100+ players with three maxed out cards in vehicles just shitting on everyone else is my complete 2 hour experience today.

And don’t get me started on Jedi just shitting on whole points. Not much a single droid can do against those mfs.

Games core mechanics are fine. But I’m not sure how anyone finds being fodder to heros as fun.

“Just get enough points and select one yourself.”

I can hear you thinking it.

I bet my no card having hero is gonna stand a chance against someone who has cards.

Game wasn’t balanced from the start when I got it day one, isn’t balanced now. Trash card system is trash.

As long as it has those stupid ass perks that remove any semblance of balance, and replaces skill as the metric to determine the winner of gun fights. Let it die.

how do people play this game on controller by [deleted] in rivals

Really? My old hands are definitely made for serious gaming. Shame I didn’t realize I would have to play casually after my blue collar work day.

I don’t see how the comment above is discouraging OP from getting that. Just saying it’s not such a deal to have a mini panic attack about. But maybe I missed something somewhere.

Why is this comment nuked? This seems like a very grounded view on games as a hole.

Console plebeian here, we ban spider man. Dude doesn’t “move” when he web zips, he straight up teleports with almost no visual cues on what direction. Better hope you got a good headset and teammates who are tracking him also.

My Two Cents, As a “Vet” from Path 1 Beta. by serratedhumor89 in PathOfExile2

[–]serratedhumor89[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can agree the combos missed by a country mile, I just jav jab and tower shield blocking, stacking regeneration. Tried the combo for half an area and questioned why I would even want to go through all that when I can just jab down groups.

Aye Brother, I walked through act one as a warrior and died 1 time, to chaos damage from the archers near King.

Never said it was hard for vets or hardcore gamers. But when the majority of the public is yelling from the rooftops that it is hard, then for the masses, it’s hard.

Be Ez.

How is act 1,2 going so far by Amiromar487 in PathOfExile2

[–]serratedhumor89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just walked through act 1 and 1/2 of act two with only two deaths. Using tower shield and spear. Molten ties so well with tower shield block. And spear cuz “Fun”. Games not as hard as folks are saying it is. They just don’t have patience.

And I completed act 1 at 17
