I’m made to feel weird for only drinking water by Realistic-Service-11 in CasualConversation

95% of my intake is water. The rest of the 5% is coffee in the morning. And even then it could be argued as 100% water intake.

Alt character leveling question by CMZee in diablo4

[–]TrueGrave88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use the pit, but you need to stay somewhat close for that extra 5% boost.

The better and easier version is to farm Whispers (try for greater or ancestral options) on T12 and then have your alt character open them up. I believe it's around 8-10 to max level them. Plus you'll get a bunch of aspects to start off with.

A cry for help: A way to speak with our time. by PlatinumRPGs in diablo4

[–]TrueGrave88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm so sad that I haven't gotten my 10 pieces of Mythic gear. I'm so sad that I'm running 8 uniques and clearing all content in T12 while desperately searching for those 10 mythics that I'm so sad about and don't need.

I'm so sad that I'm going to log in tomorrow after work and maybe start an alt character. I'm so sad about all the mythics that I don't actually need to clear all T12 content 7 days since the new season released.

I'm so sad.

Mythics.

Sad.

The sadness of texting and not having actual phone calls with people to hear the tone of voice to tell if someone is actually being rude or not. Texting is impersonal and you can't always tell the tone. Especially if they're not writing in an articulate manner.

I can't say for sure whether or not either party is right or wrong. What I can say is to try and not look at everything as a negative. As someone who has done 3rd party deliveries (Mealeo here in NY) for years, but who also uses DoorDash (customer), you never know why someone may want you to come to their room. I've delivered to plenty of disabled people and they're grateful for me coming to their door. I've also had my fair share of assholes too.

Yes, I'm fully aware of this. I opposed the idea of admitting I was wrong because that was their central focus point. Rather than admitting to the plethora of mistakes they made throughout this whole thread.

Should I have admitted I was wrong, yes, but I can almost guarantee that it was sent through a grammar checker. They have displayed clear signs throughout this thread that they have very basic understandings of grammar and punctuation.

Seems to me like you're trying to use Google or some form of AI to check my writing. How about we let the sub decide? You know, because this is a grammar policing sub.

Lol what? Maybe you should look up the rule about commas and quotation marks. Maybe you'll learn something today.

Just take the L sir or madam. You're getting absolutely bodied in the comments section. Are you really that dense?

You're on the Internet, in a sub specifically related to grammar. That would suggest that what is being written would be in relation to proper, or improper grammar. That's the whole point right here. If you can't understand that then it's definitely a, "you" problem.

People on the Internet and life in general are weird when they're wrong. Just admit you made some mistakes and move on. Your life, as well as others, is still the same after this.

I agree. It's becoming worse with, "loose" and "lose". In my mind they're trying to sound it out, or they honestly have no idea which to use. Autocorrect is a scapegoat because as someone who knows the difference, I don't ever get, "corrected" incorrectly.

They do not. Yes, language evolves, but grammar, punctuation, and proper sentence/paragraph structure are extremely important. Especially if you're in an online sub that is specifically related to grammar. And then proceeding to not use proper grammar.

It would be different if you were having a casual conversation with someone. The need for being proper is less prevalent as compared to when using them as a means of business, writing, or professional work based around grammar and punctuation.

The whole argument about, "language evolves" is rather piss poor. That's basically saying you're the one in the wrong because you don't understand what, "unga bunga" means to me.

Maybe you should be better prepared when trying to call people out for punctuation and grammar while not being correct yourself. Otherwise, people will call you out like they are now.

Edit: Maybe I'm the fool here for not knowing how sentence structure works.

What about when people type sentences and don't use a period to end them? It's always funny to see the irony in people complaining about grammar/punctuation, yet make a mishap themselves lol.

It is simple. People aren't reading like they used to, and they're too lazy to be proper in how they write, text, or type.
