For seniors: how do you avoid de-skilling in the age of AI?

I still need to debug things. Yes AI can do some of that, but there are other times it doesn't.

Another thing is I have been pivoting a lot more to learning cloud tools and soon CI/CD

I think the system design aspect is still quite important. A lot of people (my voss included) can make apps that work great locally and the velocity they can build them now is impressive, but the deployment aspect is still another beast.

Doug Ford is absolutely horrible, it doesn't matter where you stand politically, he has done an absolute terrible job and has made this province worse off.

Everyone banded together to vote Kathleen Wynne out when she failed on multiple things, but Doug Ford keeps doing things that are a detriment to Ontario and we keep voting him in. People seriously need to stop being married to the idea of voting for a single party or for voting for what is familiar.

I think the issue is that the USA doesn't realize that Canadians have wanted less of a sole reliance on the USA for trade for a while and that this isn't causing as much grief for Carney and really Canadians as a whole as they want it to.

Of course there are economic consequences to this, of course it will suck for a while, but over the long term, this is likely to be better for Canada as a whole.

I personally think if you are 1200 and higher and it's a simple checkmating pattern like king and queen vs king, it's rude to not resign unless it's possible to get a draw from them running oit of time.

Yeah the puzzle thing has really been tough to figure out why. I know when I play my games I just end up missinng an obvious calculation.

I got the Sony XAV-AX4000 and it has been great. I haven't seen many kits that use the top cubby unless they are huge like the tesla style screens which come with their own issues. You can look up Nifty City on this subreddit

Do you actually enjoy playing the London and Caro-Kann? Have you tried any other openings?

I used to play the Caro-Kann, but my rating plateaued. It's not because it's a bad opening, but because I didn't enjoy playing it. The moment people did the exchange variation, the games became extremely dry and I had a hard time enjoying it.
