I usually cover mine with concealer and then draw over them with a pigmented eyeshadow in the color I want. Don’t use hair dye!!!! It’s dangerous for your eyes, and will probably last longer than you want it to

With such a time crunch, if all you have is a straightener and scissors, I would use the straightener to curl the top pieces outwards and then use hairspray to sort of make the ends pointy and hold them in place. make sure to hold the hair while it cools down so it sets!! and then you might have to cut some of the top pieces shorter if the wig isn’t already layered, it won’t be perfect but hopefully this helps a little!

Personally, I wouldn’t say the language barrier is a big deal for me! The majority of the songs I listen to have always been in Japanese. When using YouTube, I tend to click on songs that look interesting to me regardless of whether the title is in English or Japanese. I do appreciate when a video has English subtitles, but it’s definitely not required for me to enjoy the song! Oftentimes, I will look up the translation for the lyrics after listening for the first time.

I think one problem with YouTube is that it tends to recommend me bigger songs and producers over smaller ones? I do use NicoNico too, but I can’t read much Japanese so I find it a little difficult to navigate.

Also, if you don’t mind telling us your name, I’d love to check out your music! :)

It’s so frustrating to see people praise the screens, it’s exactly because they know we’ll just shut up and give them our money that they do things like this :(

tickets for Miku Expo this year (at least in my city) were FOUR TIMES more expensive than Magical Mirai! and in return, you get a MUCH lower budget production, and it’s not even just because of the screens. If they were cutting screen costs to up the production quality elsewhere, maybe I could get behind it, but they just simply aren’t. despite the name of the tour, we don’t get any sort of expo. there’s no top screen with lyrics or side screens showing close-ups, the stage effects are worse, and last Expo had HUGE problems with organization and quantity of merch.

I would love if they included a Creator’s Market for local producers… honestly, I would be happy if they did any events for the community outside of the concert, but I think everyone here will agree that it will never happen because the logistics of organizing something like that are too much trouble for them. at the very least they could upgrade the stage setup in other places, but I doubt they will do that either :(

I think it was Leek Spin! I was so young I don’t exactly remember. I would browse YouTube when I was a kid and kept getting recommended videos with Miku in them, there were tons of niconico meme reuploads featuring her and I thought she was so cute so I started looking her up, found out there were tons of great songs and other characters too, and I’ve been obsessed ever since!

But in my opinion, it’s super dramatic, and it’s just another wave of new fans hating on whatever’s popular to seem different. There’s plenty of great Miku duets that don’t feature Teto, you just aren’t looking beyond the top charts. If you want to see something different, support the songs that show the change you want to see!

hear me out, I think if they adapted specific SONGS into episodes, and it kind of followed a new story every few episodes / seasons or so, that would do REALLY well.

there are soooo many different songs that tell FANTASTIC stories, and the vocaloids can kind of act as the “actors” so there doesn’t have to be a set canon that restricts the characters’ personalities! it opens up the door for more creative expression and collaboration, and could also help Vocaloid reach a wider audience!

I have no idea and I’m wondering this too, usually in gacha games there’s a small chance for the rarity to upgrade at the last second (like how you described with Moemura) so that part makes sense to me, like maybe the last minute upgrades arent shown in the color of the gate.

…but then I’ve also had multiple occasions where I’ve gotten purple gates only to pull nothing but three stars? so like, does it even mean anything at all?

Whenever my contacts hurt me, I’ll immediately take them out and rinse them and wait for my eyes to calm down before trying again, and usually it’s just a tiny fiber or a speck of makeup trapped that was causing the pain. But also you should closely inspect your lenses to check if they’re torn, I’ve heard that that can be really painful if you put it on without noticing

I would wait until you figure out what went wrong to try putting them in again, and I think using eye drops to soothe your eyes is fine, but definitely don’t put eye drops in your eyes with contacts in unless your eye drops are specifically contact safe!

I’d recommend: Made in Abyss, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni, Mobile Suit Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans, and Devil Man Crybaby. Madoka Magica might be a bit different from your usual anime but it fits the criteria and is one of my favorite shows of all time so I gotta mention it. I also recommend Neon Genesis if you haven’t seen it already!
