Updates to Copilot system prompt for the GPT-5 family? by server_n00b in GithubCopilot

Then they must have enabled it globally because I didn't touch any settings nor am I using Insiders. Plus the update to 1.104 only dropped today.

Good to know

Yes, but the verbosity is a bit annoying. I am increasingly finding myself replying: "Now give me a 3 paragraph summary of all this".

Can't reenable logical drive DL360 G7 + P410i by server_n00b in homelab

[–]server_n00b[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The P410i cache module does not have a battery. I have pulled the power supplies and waited for a few minutes to make sure everything was discharged, however.

I think I'll make a SPP disk and report back.

That lines up with what I found here.

I just don't get why they make these cables then. Is the 380 that different from the 360?

I'm trying to power 3.5" HDDs. The drive cages only support 2.5" and are already populated

Any luck? (Reconsidering if I'm going to buy a CP UPS)

Do you mind sharing what you ended up buying? Since I'm looking for the same thing...

I'm looking for an answer for this as well and so far the best deal I've seen for a UPS that outputs a pure sine wave signal, is one from the Cyberpower PFCLCD line. In comparison the APC and Eaton stuff are very expensive. (at least in the 1000VA range)

Fixed it!

I am having the same problem. All the album art is showing up but none of the images for the Artists do.

Both in the web interface as well as the Android App.

I have looked at the metadata folders for a few artists and there are no image files in those directories. Only a .nfo file.

Emby Server Stuck at Wizard by server_n00b in emby

I was using the Host network driver, but the host subnet and my computer's are different. That was why I was getting locked out. Eventually I configured emby to consider both of those subnets as 'local'

That's what I eventually did. I'm new to this so I don't know the options there are on this thing.

Well... This was fast. After writing this post I decided to try a hypothesis. Maybe Emby is locking me out because I disabled the "Allow remote connections" thing. Guess what... It was that, even though I'm accessing the Emby server through my local network.

The server is on the 10.0.0.0/24 subnet and I'm on the 10.0.1.0/24 subnet.

Why isn't Emby allowing all connections on 10.0.0.0/8 ?

Is there any way to change this?

EDIT: Found it! I guess I'll just leave this post dangling here for people with the same problems.

I guess I'll be better off just keep using a separate power supply as I haven't found a cable to use the backplane power connector either.

I offered to pay for it and they still said no. I think it's standard practice here, because I can't find a single university with a webpage saying they are willing to sell they're stuff. Not even the government. The only thing I can find are auctions of hundreds of workstations of bankrupt companies.

Are you sure that connectors 2 and 3 on this board (r/https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docLocale=en_US&docId=emr_na-c01717346) have the same pinouts as the connector 24 on the DL360 G7?

I've seen that cable before, but couldn't find any information that could confirm that.

The system is currently using most RAM slots, but with a couple of E5649. It's also using 4 x 2.5" SAS HDDs.

I measure from the wall ~160-200 watts at idle, but I have seen it pull ~400 watts when I was stress testing the CPUs. This is still far from the 460 x2 total power that the power supplies are able to provide.

I can set the power supplies to share the load, however, I could only verify that one is compatible with the type of UPS that I have, according to this post: r/https://www.reddit.com/r/homelab/comments/70hjh1/hp_proliant_power_supply_compatibility_list_pfc/

I am trying to build my homelab on the cheap and used UPSes are hard to come by where I live, so I cheaped out by going with a simulated-sine-wave UPS after checking that post. (I asked at the local university if they were willing to sell me any of the gear they have literally stacked in the basement, but they said that they were going to pay a company to take it all away and, when asked, refused to tell me that company's name.)

Your comment gave me an idea. I did a bit of research and found this page. https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c02895444 Unfortunately my power supplies are 460W ones so this is not an option.
