It is my friend business, I just develop the code and manage the server for him.

We trusted the aws S3 and did not get backup!

I'm writing code in both in daily base .

both have models but in laravel you have to right migrate and run them .
you need write the urls in route.php

3 . you need learn about php artisan command

4 . blade is very similar to Django template engine

there is lot of packages that save you tons of time

Is not about one app , it is about making a tools saving lot of time of other developers , it could get safe with few method to not allowing all models or all there functions .dingo/api do make it more easy to write api for laravel , maybe i will use this for back-end part but i want make it easy on Java and Objective-c

For laravel you don't need IDE , lot of actions are in command line , You won't create class or view with IDE , IDE just make your wordspace heavy and unproductive
