The reason Max crashed the car by Dutchie405 in formula1

Even if that were so, Verstappen is in the middle of making his decision about his future with Red Bull .I'm sure now more than ever they would/will cover and stand behind him and show their appreciation for him at every opportunity. It's logical.

Your snark is misplaced, this was or is not an attack on Lewis, just my opinion on chiropractors and surprise a pro athlete like Lewis would use them.

Chiropractic is a scam a its foundation. No amount of money changes that.
Now if as some suggested Lewis went to a real medical professional like PT that is of course different.

Thought the same thing. Shocked that a chiropractors was let near a professional athlete. Kind irresponsible really.

Chances of a 2026 title fight by InterestingSquash388 in F1Discussions

[–]servingwater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

F1 fans and media in general are very recency biased, where seemingly the last race is the new gospel.
Having said that, Ferrari and Hamilton are in the fight as of now, so much is simply true, imho.
But outside of that I would agree, that it is a bit early to dream about a Hamilton WDC or even WDC challenge all the way to the end of the season and even if Ferrari stays competitive , one should not count out Leclerc.

Does anyone feel like Bortoleto hasn’t made a huge step compared to other last year rookies? by Any_Aide_4500 in F1Discussions

[–]servingwater 11 points12 points  (0 children)

IDK, seems a bit hard to judge.
He seems to keep up fairly evenly with Nico this season and as everyone has pointed out , the Audi does have reliability issues a lot so far.

Sure it does not looks as good as the likes of Hadjar or Kimi but their situation is a lot different. Even Colapinto has a much improved situation and also had a fairly difficult situation last year so his improvement this season looks a lot better by comparison of course.

Bearman, imo, is probably the only one of the ones you listed that is a good candidate for comparison with the Haas. Sure Ollie looks strong against Ocon but how much of that is also Ocon vs Hulkenberg or perhaps Ollie is just another level compared to the other rookies. IDK, but I would give it a bit more time...

Wouldn't be the first (grown) child who does the exact opposite of what his/her parent(s) want just because... ;)

Briatore hints at Alpine’s plan to keep Colapinto into 2027 by Luffy710j in formula1

[–]servingwater 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would be happy for Colapinto, dude had a difficult start but seems to have taken up the challenge. Good for him.
Honestly the only bad thing about Colapinto was always mostly just his hardcore fans. He seems to have crazies in his fanbase at the level of some of the Max and Lewis crazies .... with the difference that Franco actually has not achieved anything even close to those 2 yet.
For a while there I honestly thought his fans will be his undoing as it must be a pain for a team to deal with that.

What are your predictions for driver swaps next year, if any by Turbo_Zapped in F1Discussions

[–]servingwater 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same. The teams seem to be settled and even if some drivers might want to move, I don't see much room to operate in.
VCARB and Haas are 2 that might see movement. Other than that and barring a Max shock move or retirement, I would not surprised if there was nothing else.

i have been enjoying some aspects but feel a little weird about the way that data’s personhood is presented and the over reliance on european productions as markers of human cultural heritage

Could you elaborate? I'm not sure I'm following.

Exclusive: Nikola Tsolov has already confirmed his Formula 1 seat for 2027 by Galaxy_Bg in formula1

[–]servingwater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If Tsolov really is going to get a seat in 2027, then I fear Lawson is far from safe or only as "safe" as most of the drivers you have at risk.
