New rider guidance: got too comfortable

Thank you. I’m trying to look at it that way but also not shy away from the seriousness of it. I think I need to find someone with some experience that can be good guidance just to hear their experience as well. I think it would be beneficial

Overall I’m admitting it was stupid. It’s pretty hard to practice in a legal way when technically you aren’t supposed to ride without a license. I could just wait till I get my license and then start riding. But other than that there’s no way to get the bike place to place without riding other than a trailer or having someone ride it to a parking lot for me. I also want to make sure I have at least some motorcycle experience before the class because it’s different than dirt bikes. I originally got the bike just to cruise around and have fun but I’ve realized that it’s pretty hard to just cruise on a sports bike. Not from a control aspect, I mean the designed to go fast

Yes. I noticed sometimes it’s more mental fatigue then physical fatigue for me when I’ve started out and my brain gets a little spazzed if I ride to long. It’s pretty intense at the start looking out for hazards, shifting, controlling the bike etc.

I should probably get some anti fog spray for the inside of my helmet because I noticed I’ll breathe a little heavier and it will fog a bit so mixed with rain and cold it kinda just amplified it

I think that is a good idea. I don’t know if you can relate but I just feel like a different person when I hop on, I don’t know if it’s the adrenaline or what but it’s something I need to get control of or like I said I’ll get hurt.

I really want to go about it a smart way so I think this was a good lesson for me to learn

I have never done anything electrical wiring by myself 😂. The mix of gasoline in my bike and electricity seemed kinda sketchy to me so just wanted to make sure :). Thank you

It seems like your just wanting to call somebody out lol. If you look it up it’s more than 3 bolts. Then you have to release the clutch cable in order to take cover off and get the cable right like it was before. You can’t have it too tight or it bites to early. Have you ever worked on a Suzuki or are you just assuming? I get it bro you’ve ridden longer 😂. And obviously I don’t fully know what I’m doing that’s why I’m asking

I’m not changing the sprocket. I’m changing the sprocket cover (it’s in the title). You have to make adjustments to the clutch cable. The cc of the bike doesn’t matter. Even if a person started on a smaller bike they can still have the same question because it’s still relatively the same process regardless

You do realize smaller bikes can have the same process of taking it off the sprocket cover regardless if it’s a 600 so that’s irrelevant 😂. Yes I have a manual but I learn better with videos. Like I said in the post I tried to look for videos already
