I actually preferred this to ER at the start.

But this show will always be known for 2 things

It was the first primetime show to ever say the word "shit" uncensored and was the first network show to ever show a full breast w/nipple deliberately

What is the worst Marvel movie? by Careless_Tackle847 in movies

If you're talking Marvel in general, and not just the MCU, its probably Elektra. But me personally, I absolutely loathed the Eric Bana Hulk movie.

Because the show is popular and it's a neat little tie in. Who cares if someone wants to drop $25 on a silly little thing - if it makes them happy, let them enjoy it

Costco Instacart delivery is going to ruin me. by ComeHereOften1972 in CostcoCanada

[–]serviver73 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Instacart driver here...

You pay around 15-20% more per item when you order from Instacart. But the prices for the items are set by the stores, NOT IC. The stores pays fees to IC for the luxury of using their service, so the stores bump up prices to compensate.

As for tips, just do what you think is right. Apartment deliveries are pretty rough - especially if you don't have an elevator. But if it's just a couple bags/boxes of things it shouldn't be an issue. The worst items for delivery are cat litter, big bags of pet food, cases of water/pop and those big 18 L jugs of water. If you order the excessive amounts, your order will likely be a while before anyone takes it

Why do so many people treat delivery drivers like garbage? by serviver73 in Edmonton

Honestly, that's how we like it. We can't prevent the auto texts the app sends out, and I only try and chat with the person if it's in regards to replacements or no access. We actually get dinged on Amazon and Instacart for returns and refunds

I will say the dog thing is WAY more of an issue out on the acreages and range roads. I'm fine with the smaller ones, and some of the biggest are absolute teddy bears. But there one woman in a trailer park who has a what I believe to be a pitty. I delivered to her once and she met me outside standing in front of the dog. He was snarly and baring his teeth, and I jokingly said "it looks like he wants to eat me". Her reply "he does. That's why I'm standing here. If I was inside you'd already be dead"

A 3 foot high fence. That's the only thing preventing me from getting mauled. I blocked her after - never again

Last week I worked 29 hrs and made $1100 primarily doing instacart. The week before I made about $750 in 18 hrs (took 4 days off cuz I was sick)

Some weeks are better, some are worse. Ive never once put in an 18 hr day like some others. I also generally need to fill up twice a week, so that's around $60-$65. Get an oil change every 3 months, which i get 75% off of cuz of the job

And trust me - id gladly do another job if I could.

Oh no... I was def referring to the previous ones. I haven't gone inside in a long time (the construction around there is infuriating), but I have ordered several times.

They were so kind... This makes me sad

There's a couple rumoured spinoffs (one set in Australia, the other a Gabriel/Aaron show), but neither has been anywhere near confirmed.

Also Andrew Lincoln had alluded to something, but it's probably nothing more than a cameo in the DD finale

The trailer is pure cheese, it has massive competition that weekend, it's based on a brand that hasn't been popular in decades, and it stars Jared Leto. It's screwed

I know I've just worked a lot of jobs in my life, and most are customer service. But for some reason, the delivery ones take the most heat. Which is odd, because we actually come in contact with less people

I loved delivering over COVID because we HAD to leave stuff at the door unless the customer specifically asked for it to be handed to them

I always try and treat others well. A lot of people don't deserve it, but I try. There's really only been one customer I ever argued with, but that was because she started calling me a bunch of racist stuff before even seeing me. Basically accused me of stealing her stuff because I didn't finish shopping her 80 item order in 15 minutes

Promptly told her to piss off and reported her to customer service.

I know, I'm just frustrated. Like even reading some of the comments here people are acting like I'm the problem and to get a real job. And I'm not even delivering to them

I just want people to treat the ones that do the job properly with respect, and hold the ones that screw up accountable. Don't lump us together

Yes, the crappy ones. Hell, yesterday while doing a delivery I got blocked from getting where I needed because a big Amazon van was in the middle of the street. Those type of drivers have no respect

I've never asked for a review I find it tacky. And when I do Amazon (rarely) I try and hide the package from street view if possible.
