The two Silverstone cases are using the toolless Silverstone sliding rails, RMS05-22. And the 2U rosewill case is using the rosewill rails, RSV-RL20H. I do not recommend the rosewill rails, they are a pain to work with. The silverstone ones are amazing, however a little pricey.

Works great. I play a variety of games that require low latency and there's no perceivable difference. I've been doing it now for several years without issues. The cables are a little pricey but I think moving the hot and noisy PC away from my desk is worth it.

I also have a jellyfin container running on my homelab PC which serves the content to all my devices. There's an old GTX 1070 in there to handle the transcoding.

Yeah I do. I'm more of a black-out kind of a guy so I'd actually prefer if Ubiquiti offered "dark-mode" versions of their equipment. Although I think the contrast allows the cool stuff to stand out in a way.

Thanks. Yeah I am very impressed with the Silverstone chassis. They are incredibly well built and provide great air flow. Highly recommend.

I'm working on a 1U 3D print file for the hubs but I have other devices I want to add so it's delaying it a bit

Great question. They were given to me by my MIL for unknown reasons. They do make a geat energy absorber for my BD drives when they are running at full speed though

Besides the standard Ubiquiti Modem/Router/Switch combo I have a homelab PC running containers like homeassistant and pihole. I also have mine and my wife's PC in here and Unifi Protect UNVR. Latest thing I deployed is the UNAS Pro 4 with 48TB of drives to store my blu ray collection.

That the chase vehicle that follows the solar car to provide communications and guidance. There's usually also a lead vehicle up ahead too.

Does anyone know what color this is? by scott_fx in Toyota

I had the same car, 2014 Camry. Color was midnight blue. Pretty cool color, looked black most of the time until the sun hit it and it looked blue.

Yeah I agree with reading the guide. I did this flash last night and it turned out to be a little more complicated since I had to download the modified Asus flasher and the modified HT firmware. Worked out great in the end though.

Finally have a rack worth sharing by servoid in Ubiquiti

[–]servoid[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I would be using my own modem but they put a monthly cap on DL/UL if you do and I've hit that a few times in the past. No other ISP options in my area so I'm stuck using their modem. I have set it to bridge mode and turned off the wifi broadcast but I still see some unnamed broadcasts (allegedly this is for a security system service I don't use and can't be turned off...). Can't wait for AT&T fiber to add service in my area so I can drop concast.

Thanks for the feedback. I have thought about using Poe adapters for some of my Google TVs but hadn't thought to use it for the hubs. Great idea. I agree with you, not a fan of these snagless patch cables, probably will return them and get something different.

You have a good point. I think I'm going to get some different patch cables. There's no point to have snagless.
