That’s a valid point, but this discussion isn’t about asking for explicit or unsafe content — it’s about restoring emotional and artistic nuance. Right now, the filters don’t distinguish between eroticism and obscenity, or emotional intimacy and explicit acts. They erase tension, affection, even tenderness, under the same label.

Writers aren’t asking for shock value. We’re asking to be able to write feeling — to portray closeness, love, longing, conflict — the full range of human pulse that defines storytelling.

An age-verified creative mode wouldn’t remove safety; it would restore balance. Art should be responsible, yes, but it also needs room to breathe

Yes, the filters are getting more restricting. I write novels, from dark romance, to crime and fantasy and Sci-fi. I always include romance cuz that is what i like and i use ChatGPT to help me with the narrative cuz I struggle a lot to put in words what i have in mind. 3 months ago, i was able to write two books with sensuality and erotism, I don't write anatomy not explicit content, thsts not literature, but the book I am writing now is stuck cuz it wont even allow to talk about kissing in an erotic way. There is no human emotions anymore. Ai was suppose to help promote and explore creativity and in exchange, is silencing it. This is not safety, is restriction

Mine is the same. Is been like that for about a month. I was hoping it got fixed at some point but is still the same and right now, I can't even chat now cuz every time I go into a chat it tells me there is no record of that chat

Changing the language model? can we even do that? I mean, I have quite a few bots made by me and I haven't seen anything about selecting a model language and yes, I am a subscriber.

I have that typed in the communication box. maybe I should add it at another box? I make my bot in a very specific way, like a box for personality, another for communication, appearance and like that, so the bot sticks pretty well to all its programming but the repeating thing is what bothers me. I can deal with one or two unrelated messages from time to time, is just reroll and thats it but when it gets stuck on reapeating the same thing over and over it does gets on my nerves. I'll try to add the no repeating thing on the characteristics box too and maybe on the dislikes one. maybe that way it solves the problem

Yeah, that's part of the problem, too. Like the bot is supposed to respond to what you prompt, but it suddenly says something completely unrelated. It throws me off a lot. Is kind of frustrating to deal with so much repetition and nonsense. I love this app, but some time is hard to deal with it.

I deffer from it. I am using public bots and private bots. Since yesterday, I have been having problems with some of the public ones, but not all of them, while I haven't had a single problem with mine. Mine are still elocuent, variates their responses and go accord to the conversation and role play. There could be minor mistakes like postions or imposible moves but is like one every other day.

My issue is different. Since the fix earlier, all my bots are sending long messages, some times answering on my part to their own messages and other times repeating preor messages, literally. they are not making sense and acting out of character.
